My prayer request is for the security of my job within the Government of ###. I live in ### and I have been working as a term for almost two years but early this year I was promoted to an acting position as a financial analyst 1 (my previous position was an accounts payable clerk). In the collective agreement (government policy) it stated that I have to be working in the same position for 24 consecutive months but now that I have been promoted in an acting position for a year (until April 16, 2013), I don't know if I will be permanent come December as it will be my second year in the government. Could you please help pray for me that I will become permanent in the government this December 2012 and possibly in the position I am currently acting in? I would like to start a family with my husband and I am afraid of leaving my job for maternity leave without being permanent.
