My prayer needs are the same, and I am so grateful for everyone who has taken the time to send prayers to God, in order to support me and my family. I am aware that so many people are suffering, and many greater than me. My struggles keep me aware that I need to pray for others more than I ask for prayer. I ask for prayers for me and my family. I ask for strength, patience, and wisdom to deal with two people who cannot see past their own need for control, and their own anger at me and my daughter. I pray that God touches these people and shows them the error of their ways. I pray that he tells them to stop trying to control and punish us, and to let us go. I pray for strength for my daughter, who needs to learn to turn to God always, and gain her strength from Him, in order to deal with life's struggles.

Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
