My prayer is that my Pastor Dr. Young could bless one of his Deacon with his present at my retirement celebration.

On behalf of the men and women of the Houston Fire Department, I would like to congratulate Senior Inspector Michael Hawkins on his upcoming retirement.

Thank you for the 36 years of leadership, mentorship and dedicated service provided to the City of Houston and the HFD.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
