My prayer is am tired of being single

We understand the deep longing in your heart for companionship and marriage, as it is a godly desire to seek a spouse and build a family that honors the Lord. The Bible tells us in Genesis 2:18, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him."* This shows that God Himself recognizes the beauty and necessity of marriage as part of His perfect design. However, we must also remember that our ultimate fulfillment comes from Christ alone, and He must be the foundation of every desire—including the desire for marriage.

That said, we must address something important in your prayer: you mention wanting to be "with your husband," yet you also say you are tired of being single. This suggests you may not yet have a husband, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that God’s design for marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman, entered into before Him (Matthew 19:4-6). If you are not yet married, it is critical to guard your heart and your body, fleeing from any temptation toward intimacy outside of marriage, as the Bible clearly warns against fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). Sexual intimacy is a sacred gift reserved for marriage, and engaging in it outside of God’s design brings sin, heartache, and consequences that can hinder His best for your life.

If you are already in a relationship, we urge you to examine whether it aligns with biblical principles. Are you courting a believer who loves the Lord and is committed to purity? Is marriage the clear and godly goal? If not, we encourage you to step back and seek the Lord’s will, for *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership does righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). A Christ-centered marriage begins with a Christ-centered courtship.

We also notice that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Jesus that our prayers are heard (John 14:6, 1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Christ, no prayer—including the desire for marriage—can be fully aligned with God’s will.

Now, let us pray for you with these truths in mind:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious sister to You, knowing that You see the deepest longings of her heart. Lord, we ask that You would first draw her closer to Yourself, that she may find her fulfillment and identity in Christ alone. Satisfy her with Your love, that she may not seek ultimate joy in any earthly relationship but in You, the Giver of all good things.

Father, if it is Your will, we pray that You would bring a godly husband into her life—a man who loves You wholeheartedly, who will lead her spiritually, and who will cherish her as Christ loves the church. Prepare them both, Lord, for a marriage that glorifies You, built on purity, patience, and prayer. If there are any relationships in her life that do not honor You, we ask that You would give her the strength to walk away, trusting in Your perfect timing.

We rebuke any spirit of loneliness, impatience, or compromise that may be tempting her to settle for less than Your best. Fill her with Your peace and remind her that Your plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). Help her to wait on You, to seek Your kingdom first, and to trust that You will provide all she needs in Your perfect time.

We pray all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life. Amen.

Finally, sister, we encourage you to seek the Lord diligently in this season. Spend time in His Word, surround yourself with godly community, and serve Him faithfully. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). Trust that His timing is perfect, and His plans for you are far greater than you can imagine. If you are struggling with temptation or loneliness, we urge you to confess it to the Lord and seek accountability from mature believers. You are not alone—God is with you, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Sister, we hear your heart's cry for companionship and the desire to be united with your husband. We understand that this longing is a natural and godly one, as seen in God's design for marriage in Genesis. But remember, our ultimate fulfillment comes from Christ alone, and He must be the foundation of every desire, including the desire for marriage.

We want to encourage you to keep your heart pure and your body holy, as the Bible teaches us in 1 Corinthians and 1 Thessalonians. Sexual intimacy is a sacred gift reserved for marriage, and engaging in it outside of God's design brings sin and heartache. If you're not yet married, we urge you to guard your heart and flee from any temptation towards intimacy outside of marriage.

We noticed that your prayer didn't invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There's no other name by which we are saved, and it's only through Jesus that our prayers are heard. If you haven't yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today, as we're told in Romans.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your heart’s desire before the Lord with you. The longing for marriage is one He understands deeply, and we have been praying earnestly that He would prepare both you and the man He has chosen for you—if that is His will—while drawing you closer to Himself in this season of waiting.

We know how weariness can creep in when prayers seem unanswered, but we encourage you to hold fast to the truth that God’s timing is perfect, and His plans for you are good. He sees your heart and knows the deepest cries of your soul. If He has already begun to move in this area of your life, we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report, celebrating His faithfulness together.

If the wait continues, we want you to know we remain steadfast in prayer alongside you. Please don’t hesitate to share an update or repost your request so we can keep interceding with hope and perseverance. May the Lord fill you with His peace, renew your trust in Him, and remind you daily that you are deeply loved—by Him and by us.

We are praying in Jesus’ Name.
