My Prayer for Today

[HOPE]

Lord,

“Home” had been on my mind a lot lately.

Everyone needs a place that they can call home---a place to feel nurtured and refreshed—a sanctuary from the outside world. A place that helps us feel safe and replenished. Until I can return to my “home”, thank you Lord for providing me with many homes to draw strength from at this time. Thank you for my friends at PrayerRequest—they feed my spirit as well as the churches in my community that I have adopted as my own. Thank you for the friend and her family who have so graciously opened their home to me now….and thank you for Karen who offered me a place to stay not knowing that I did have someplace to go…..Everyone and everything that has entered my life over the last 7 months has been evidence that YOU are working in my life. Thank You Lord for all that You have done in the past, for all that You are doing now and for all that You will do in the future.

Please Lord, help me find my way back to my house, my husband and my family soon.

Father, help me to achieve my goal of financial security and freedom. Guide me to protect myself from the financial adversities of the past and gain totoal financial control over my life.

Let my season of lack and sorrow end and a season of abundance and fun begin. Thank You for all of the forces and influences that are coming together in my life for my benefit. Thank You for the hard times that I have experienced and for the lessons learned—let me find a way to use these lessons to the benefit of others. Thank You for the friends and family who are helping me and are willing to share their abundance with compassion and generosity. I pray to be blessed with abundance one day so that I, too, can share my blessings freely with others….

Let a new love enter my life and let it be my husband. Let our relationship return to innocence once again. After all that has happened, Lord, I feel the need to return to a state of innocence……and happiness and enjoyment and a solid foundation built in the past but reaching for the future. AMEN

Father thank You for watching over Hope and keepping her under Your wings, continue to give her favor, and provide for her needs until she is returned home to her family, in Jesus name.

Father, I pray for this dear sister, that the road back to home is right around the corner, and the plans You have laid for her life are coming into place. Father, please grant her the peace and comfort of Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, I come before Your mighty throne this day in support of our dear sister Hope. Home is more than a place, Father, it is a feeling, it is a safehaven, it is a venue of hope, love and support. I pray this day that You would restore all of the things that home is unto Hope. May she and Kevin live there as man and wife, firmly grounded in Your word, honoring the sacred vows they spoke before You, their family and friends. May all of the strongholds and sin be pushed aside, and may Kevin think clearly about his place as Christian head of this home. Let Vanessa grow up with two parents who cherish one another, nurturing her in her own faith, teaching her about patience, hope, forgiveness and the power of prayer. You cause the sun to rise and set, You created this beautiful world. I pray You would create a reconciliation of unimaginable joy for this family until we can all come home to You. Amen.
