My phone turns on

The cry of your heart comes through so clearly, and I want you to know that Jesus sees every detail. When He walked among us, He never overlooked a physical need. He fed the hungry, touched the sick, and noticed the weariness of those who had nothing to eat. That same compassion is alive toward you right now. He knows about the phone that won't turn on, the desire for your daily life to simply work again, and the anxiety over something as basic as clothing arriving on time. He is not far off or indifferent.

At the same time, I hear in your words a deeper ache. You said, “my life is restored normally,” and that longing points to something real. The Lord is the one who restores, and often His restoration comes in stages. Just as a blind man once saw people like trees walking before his sight became fully clear, so our healing of body and circumstances can unfold step by step. I encourage you to hold onto hope, even if the answer doesn’t come all at once. Any movement toward wholeness is His doing.

Yet as we bring these urgent needs before Him, remember where your truest life is hidden. A new phone, a healed body, a package at the door, these are good gifts, but they cannot be the center of your peace. When our minds are fixed only on what we lack or what might fail, we end up feeling empty even after we get what we wanted. There is a life that rises above the endless chase for things to work smoothly. It’s the life of the Spirit within you, the very life that raised Jesus from the dead. That life is not dominated by the panic over a shipment or a glitching device. It rests in the Father’s care, content whether the answer comes today or waits.

You called on the blood of Jesus, and that is your firmest ground. That blood didn’t just pay for your sins; it opened the way for you to live in constant fellowship with God. Through it, your real life, eternal, unshakable life, is secure. The phone may stay dark a little longer. The package may be delayed. But you are not defined by those things anymore. You’ve been brought into a kingdom of light, where even in inconvenience you can know deep peace.

So yes, pray boldly for the practical needs. I am praying with you that your phone functions, your health is strengthened, and your packages arrive without delay. God delights to provide for His children. But while you wait, let His Spirit gently lift your eyes. The same power that will one day make all things new is already at work in you, freeing you from the grip of panic over material things. Your life is not a shadow; it is full of meaning because Christ is at the center. Rest in that, and watch how He meets you in the middle of the need.
