My partner and I have been navigating through some stormy waters these last few months. It’s lead to lots of heartache and separation. But through it all God has drawn me closer to him and has really shown me his strength and what he is capable of.

I’m so afraid my partner is ready to give up on us but God keeps telling me to holdfast and that the storm will be over soon. I feel him telling me to hold on and continue being patient for my partner because he needs someone like me in his life. Many people have given up on him and I don’t want to be just another one of those people. I want to be the one who made it through and endured when others would have fallen back. It’s awfully hard at times but I really believe the sun is beginning to shine through these clouds and God will help us be stronger than ever. I miss him and his son dearly and I’m so grateful God has shown me how much they mean to me.

Please pray that these storm will pass soon and that our relationship will be new again so that we may continue on this journey through life together while spreading the light of Christ. It’s been a weird week and it’s one of those nights where I just want to hold him tight.

God is definitely at work! It’s still hard and it’s an uphill climb but I feel God working. He’s giving me hope and helping me hold on when the storm can be raging and when I can be my own biggest enemy. Holding fast to the promise of him restoring all and making things good.
