My Parents

My parents have been serving fulltime in a local church for many years, and are tired, weary, burnt out. They have not had time away to rest for a long time. There are many problems in the church, and they are stressed. As a result, their marriage is failing. Please pray that they will receive healing, restoration and a miracle for their marriage. Pray that God will speak to them, and help them in this time of need.

Warmest greetings to you, beloved child of Christ. Let us pray for the Cause You Have Presented To Us!

We pray to Almighty God, in the Name of Jesus Christ, that our prayers be answered and that healing, in all ways, will take place for your beloved parents as is God's will. LORD, we see all circumstances pertaining to this request as being met in your most mighty hands for your Divine action. Lord Jesus, we love you and we thank you and praise you for your most kind intercession in this cause. Amen and Amen.

IMHO and with much Love in my heart, your parents should be ever cognizant of and remember that they married each other and not the church. It is noble to want to serve the church, when and if you can, but when it is causing as big a problem as the one you have identified and brought before us for prayer then God would look at the committment they made to one another which did not include the church as an integral part of the marriage. As for attaining Heaven, Jesus has told us that it is in fully accepting Him as our LORD and Savior and making that committment to Him. Some people erroneously think that by serving in church, or only doing kind deeds, etc. that will surely send them to Heaven but that is not correct and there is no basis for thinking that way in the Holy Bible. That may indeed not be their reason but they should remember that if their relationship should become estranged or even severed due to this matter as you indicate, then they should ask themselves would the church come to their immediate aid to Successfully help mend and restore it back together again?

"Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which He hath given thee under the sun, .... for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun." -- ECCLASIASTES 9:9 (KJV)

Please continue to pray to God throughout the day, thanking, praising, and glorifying His most precious name for the remediableness of this cause! Pray and give thanks as if your prayer request had *ALREADY* been answered -- that is the KEY to answered prayer! May God bless your dear parents, who are faithful, always with healing, peace of mind, and a most fruitful day filled with His many blessings! Amen.
