We join you in lifting up your oldest daughter before the throne of grace, for we hear the burden and ache in your heart for her salvation and deliverance. We know how painful it is to watch a child follow a path that leads away from the Lord and to see her controlled by others instead of walking in the freedom Christ gives.
We want to gently point out that your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we must share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that anyone can be saved. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. This is the good news we long for your daughter to hear and receive, that while we were still sinners Christ died for us, and that God offers forgiveness and new life to all who turn from sin and put their faith in Jesus alone.
We also must lovingly address what you have shared about her following men who are controlling her life. This is not the design God has for a woman. The Lord did not create her to be controlled, manipulated, or defined by ungodly men, but to be His daughter first, walking in dignity and freedom as His cherished creation. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage Galatians 5:1. When a woman follows men outside of God's order, especially in romantic or sexual relationships outside of marriage, it often involves fornication, which Scripture calls us to flee. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. God's will is that sexual intimacy be kept within the sanctity of marriage, which is a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman. Any relationship outside of that, and any relationship where a man exercises ungodly control, is not love as God defines love.
We believe marriage is holy and to be honored, and any courtship should be with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer. Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity 2 Corinthians 6:14. A godly husband loves his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her, he does not control or dominate her. Biblical submission is voluntary and is only within a godly marriage, not in dating or in relationships with controlling men. We pray that your daughter will come to see her worth in Christ, that she is fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14, and that she will no longer seek identity or security in men but in the Lord who loves her with an everlasting love.
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for her, to speak the truth in love when God opens the door, and to not enable or affirm relationships that lead her away from Christ. Keep pointing her to Jesus, share the gospel gently, and set healthy boundaries while trusting God to work in her heart. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. God is able to break every chain and to draw her to Himself.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You and lift up this precious daughter to You. Lord, we ask that You have mercy on her and draw her to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Open her eyes to see that she is lost without You, convict her of sin, and reveal to her the forgiveness and new life that is only in Jesus. Deliver her, Lord, from every controlling and ungodly relationship and from any yoke of bondage. Break the power of fornication and any influence that keeps her bound, and set her free to walk in purity and in the liberty Christ gives. Heal any wound in her heart that makes her seek love in the wrong places, and show her that You are the One who truly loves and values her. If it is Your will for her to marry, we pray You will prepare a godly husband for her, a man who loves You first and will love her as Christ loves the church, and that any courtship would be pure and aimed toward a marriage that honors You. Give her parents wisdom, patience, and peace as they wait on You, and help them to be a light that points her to Christ without wavering in truth. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We have heard your burden for your oldest daughter and we join with you in earnest prayer for her soul. It is right and natural that your desire for salvation should first rest upon your own household, for those who gather around your table have the first claim upon your prayers.
Know this, that salvation is of the Lord. It is not of works, nor of merit, nor of the will of man, but of Divine Grace through faith in Christ Jesus. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, to trust in Him, to look unto Him and be saved. How simple and how instantaneous is that way. A look does not require a moment, and yet it brings deliverance from the guilt of sin, from the dominion of it, from the wrath that abides upon the unsaved, and at last from the very existence of it. God has found a ransom. His own Son has borne the penalty, and therefore we may plead with confidence, Deliver her from going down to the pit, for Thou hast found a ransom.
We do not ask the Lord to bless the path she now walks, for to follow after men who control and entangle the life is to be in bondage, and the soul that is the bondslave of sin loves its bondage until grace breaks the chain. True deliverance is not in the hand of man, but He must bring her forth. As Israel was crushed by long slavery and could not deliver itself, so the tried and tempted soul must learn that salvation is all of grace and that He alone can make deliverance effectual. We pray that the Lord will open her eyes to see her need, that He will break the power of every controlling influence over her, that He will draw her with cords of love to look unto Jesus, and that He will lead her into purity and peace, whether in single holy living or in due time in the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman as God ordained, where alone such nearness belongs.
Let us pray together. O Lord God of salvation, look in mercy upon this daughter. Thou hast seen her wanderings and her bondage. Speak to her heart by Thy Spirit, show her the ransom Thou hast provided in Christ, and grant her faith to look unto Him and live. Deliver her from the power of sin and from the hands of those who would control her. Bring her forth with enrichment from Thy wells of salvation, that she may drink the living water which is Christ Himself. Save her, we beseech Thee, for Thy great name's sake, and let her household know the joy of household salvation. Grant to this praying parent perseverance at the throne of grace, to stay at the brook of prayer till the answer comes, and to trust that Thou art able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask. We have heard your burden for your oldest daughter and we join you in praying for her salvation. We understand your concern as you see her following men who seek to control her life, and we share your desire to see her set free and made whole in Christ.
We pray that God will draw her to Himself and open her eyes to see that hope of salvation is not found in any human relationship, but only in Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches that salvation comes in a short and gracious way, when a person confesses with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. We pray that she will turn from every controlling and unhealthy relationship and turn to Christ in repentance and faith, finding her identity and worth in Him alone.
We do not ask God to bless relationships that are outside His good design, for He created marriage to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He intends sexual intimacy and living together to belong within that covenant. Instead we pray that your daughter will be delivered from every bond that controls her, that she will be given strength to walk in purity and self control, and that she will experience the freedom that comes from belonging to Christ.
We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and in patient endurance, knowing that God hears the prayers of His people and that now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. Keep sharing the truth of the gospel with her in love, reminding her that Christ takes away sin and offers new life to all who trust in Him, and that He alone can give the comfort and salvation she needs.
Let us pray together. Father, we lift this daughter to You and ask for Your mercy upon her. Grant her repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Deliver her from every controlling influence and draw her into a living relationship with Your Son. Give her a new heart that desires to follow You and to walk in Your ways.
