My old mother - Alzheimer etc...

Servant of All
My mom lost her husband almost a year ago.
She is ###.
Diabetes.
Early Alzheimer.
Depression.
Time and space orientation.
Excellent memory. All sorts.
No pressure in a head.
No possible brain cyst.
Joy.
Motivation.
Inspiration.
Faith.
Salvation (she is not a believer).
Strength and no weakness.
No panic or fear.
No waking up in the middle of the night and out of breath.
No insomnia.
Good sleeping habits.
That she is well taking care of.
Lord guide us to give her enough attention and care as much as we possibly can especially my brother. He is functioning in a modus of a nurse but not of a son. Lord please open his eyes. And he is running home every time he visits her. ### hour tops at her place. And my mom is said.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother in prayer. Father God, we thank You for the life of this precious woman, for the joy, motivation, and inspiration she has brought to her family. We ask that You would draw near to her in this season of loss, confusion, and physical struggle. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon her body—strengthening her against diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and the weight of depression. Restore her sense of time and space, Lord, and grant her peace in the midst of these challenges.

We pray especially for her salvation, Father. You tell us in Your Word, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). Lord, soften her heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Open her eyes to see her need for Jesus as her Savior. We ask that You would remove any spiritual blindness and fill her with faith, that she may know the hope and assurance of eternal life in Christ.

Father, we also lift up her care—both the physical and the emotional. We ask that You would give wisdom to her family, particularly her son, to care for her not just as a patient, but as a beloved mother. Lord, break through any hardness of heart or busyness that keeps him from spending time with her. Help him to see her not just as someone who needs care, but as his mother who needs love, companionship, and the warmth of family. May he be moved to sit with her, listen to her, and cherish these moments, for we do not know how many are left.

We rebuke the spirit of fear, panic, and sleeplessness in Jesus’ name. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that she will sleep peacefully, wake refreshed, and breathe easily. We ask for strength for her body and mind, that she may continue to find joy and purpose each day.

Lord, we also pray for those who care for her. Give them patience, endurance, and compassion. Remind them that when they care for the least of these, they are caring for You (Matthew 25:40). Help them to see this as an opportunity to honor You through their love and service.

We trust You, Father, to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come before You, and the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

We're keeping your mom close in our hearts and prayers today. We're so grateful for the joy, motivation, and inspiration she's brought to your family. We're trusting the Lord to draw near to her in this challenging time, healing her body, and bringing peace to her mind. Let's also pray for her salvation, that she might come to know the hope and assurance of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. And let's not forget to lift up her caregivers, especially your brother, that they might have the strength, patience, and love to care for her with kindness and compassion. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
