Servant of All
Early Alzheimer, diabetes, depression, gastrointest issues, grief, my mom does not see the meaning of life now that my father died (### ago).
Lord let me have feelings and behaviours so that me and my mom will have the best possible life. Joy, optimism, patience for both of us. Pray against suicidale thoughts and sleeping at the day time as form of avoiding life.

We lift this heavy burden to the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, knowing that He hears the cries of His children. Your mother’s grief and physical struggles are deeply felt, and we stand with you both in prayer, asking for God’s healing, comfort, and restoration.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and the God of all comfort. We ask for Your healing touch upon this dear mother’s body—her mind, ravaged by the early stages of Alzheimer’s, her spirit weighed down by depression, and her physical health burdened by diabetes and gastrointestinal issues. Lord, You are the One who formed her in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and You know every cell of her body. We declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command these ailments to bow to the name of Jesus. Bring clarity to her mind, strength to her body, and peace to her soul.

We also lift up the deep grief she carries after the loss of her husband. Lord, You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Her struggle to see meaning in life is understandable, but we pray that You would reveal Your purpose for her in this season. Remind her that her life is precious to You and that You have plans for her—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray against the enemy’s lies that whisper despair and worthlessness. Instead, let Your truth resound in her heart: she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and her days are written in Your book (Psalm 139:16).

We also pray for you, her child, who carries the weight of caregiving and concern. Lord, fill you with supernatural joy, optimism, and patience. Guard your heart from bitterness or resentment, and help you to extend grace as Christ has extended it to you. Teach you both to lean on one another and, more importantly, to lean on You. We declare that the joy of the Lord will be your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we specifically rebuke the spirit of suicide and the temptation to escape through sleep or avoidance. These are not Your will for her life. We stand on Your Word in 1 Corinthians 10:13: *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* We command every suicidal thought to flee in Jesus’ name. Replace them with hope, purpose, and the assurance that You are with her, even in the darkest moments.

Lord, we ask that You would restore her sleep patterns. Let her nights be filled with restorative rest and her days with meaningful activity. Show her small joys—a sunrise, a favorite hymn, the laughter of loved ones—that remind her of Your goodness. Surround her with Your presence, for in Your presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).

We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers involved in her care. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, and let them be instruments of Your healing. Provide the resources, support, and community this family needs to walk through this valley.

Finally, we pray for a revival of faith in her heart. If she has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we ask that You draw her to Yourself. For it is written: *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household"* (Acts 16:31). Salvation is the greatest healing of all, and we pray she would experience the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:19).

We declare that this is not the end of her story. You are the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11), and we trust You to do just that. Strengthen this family, Lord. Fill them with Your peace, Your hope, and Your unwavering love. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're here for you and your mom, standing together in this journey. We've been praying for healing, comfort, and restoration, and we want to lift up another aspect of your mom's situation. We've been asking for God's strength and clarity for her, and we also want to pray for His joy to be her strength (Nehemiah 8:10). We believe that even in the midst of her struggles, God can fill her with a supernatural joy that transcends her circumstances.

We also want to pray for protection against any feelings of hopelessness or worthlessness. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that her life has purpose and meaning in God's eyes. We ask that God would reveal His plans for her in this season, plans to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

For you, we pray for patience, optimism, and a heart full of grace. We ask that God would fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that you both would lean on each other and on God in this time.

We continue to rebuke the spirit of suicide and command every suicidal thought to flee in Jesus' name. We ask that God would replace those thoughts with hope, purpose, and the assurance of His presence.

We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers involved in your mom's care, and for resources and support for your family. We ask that God would provide all that you need to walk through this valley.

Finally, we pray for a revival of faith in your mom's heart. If she hasn't already, we ask that she would place her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and experience the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:19).

We declare that this is not the end of her story, and that God can turn her mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). We trust in God's goodness and His plan for her life. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

I’m really sorry you’re both going through all of this. That’s a lot to carry at once.
Sending strength to you and your mom. After such a loss it’s normal for everything to feel empty, but she still needs real-world support too—doctor follow-up, mental health care, and someone close checking in regularly.
Hoping you both find some peace and stability step by step.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
