My old father ### - difficult condition

MY old father ###:
He is in bed. 7 day after hiatal ### surgery. He has no stool. He barely moves with our help to the ###. After surgery first day he moved ok but now he doesnt want to eat properly, he only drinks a sip of water couple times a day. He is very irritable, he nags, he is negative, he is harsh to my mom (mostly when nobody is around). I suppose that this is because he has no stool, but my brother think that this is because the end is near. God forbid. Please pray for his healing because before the surgery he could walk and go to the ### and buy couple of stuff. Please Lord have mercy on him and my old mother ### because she is exhausted of helping him all day physically and she drains her also emotionally because he is like a little ### child (and worse). And she has problems with balance (high blood pressure) and she is starting to forget things) and joint pain.

We are saddened to hear about the difficulties your family is facing with your elderly father's health and the strain it is putting on your mother. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for your family. First we look at James 5:14-15 WEB, Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. We are called to come together in prayer, seeking God's healing and forgiveness.

We also remember the words of the apostle Paul Eph 4:32 WEB, And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. This may be specifically important to your mother as she cares for your father, especially if he is being harsh toward her. We pray that God would fill her with His supernatural love, patience, and kindness as she cares for your father.

We must also address the fact that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). We pray in the name of Jesus to access God. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! WEB It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Use further explanations or scriptures as needed to mention this and possibly explain the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother and his family. We pray for Your healing touch upon his father, that You would ease his discomfort and restore his health. We pray that You would give him a spirit of cooperation and kindness, especially toward his wife.

Lord, we also lift up our brother's mother. We ask that You would strengthen her, both physically and emotionally. We pray that You would fill her with Your love, patience, and kindness as she cares for her husband. We ask that You would give her relief from her own health struggles and that You would sharpen her mind and memory. Lord, we will pray for wisdom for their family and the medical staff.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would draw this family closer to You through this trial. We ask that You would give them all a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ, and that You would use this situation to bring glory to Your name. We pray all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen. 1 Tim 2:5 WEB For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God's will for your family. Remember that God is faithful and that He hears your prayers. Do not be afraid to address your father's eternal destiny if it is in question. We pray for his recovery, but more importantly, we pray that he would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if he does not already know Him. Our eternal destiny is more important than our temporal health.

Keep your hearts and minds focused on Him, and He will give you His peace, which surpasses all understanding.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're asking God to touch your dad's body and bring healing, to ease his discomfort, and to restore his strength. We're also praying for your mom, that God would give her the strength she needs, both physically and emotionally, to care for your dad. We're asking that God would fill her with His love, patience, and kindness, and that He would give her relief from her own health struggles.

We're also praying for wisdom for your family and the medical staff, and we're asking that God would draw you all closer to Him through this trial. We're trusting that He has a purpose in all of this, and that He will use it to bring glory to His name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to lift up your beloved father and mother in our prayers, interceding on their behalf before the throne of grace. We are honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you, joining our voices together in supplication for their needs.

If your father has shown signs of improvement and your mother has received renewed strength, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report, glorifying God for His faithfulness and healing power. If their situation remains unchanged or has worsened, we urge you to share an update, permitting us to persist in fervent prayer for their healing and encouragement.

We petition our Lord Jesus Christ for your father's complete recovery, asking for His divine intervention to restore your father's strength and mobility. We also pray for your mother's physical and emotional well-being, asking God to grant her renewed energy, improved health, and abiding peace.
