Dear Lord,

I come before You today acknowledging that I cannot do this alone. I lean completely on Your strength, wisdom, and grace as I race against this deadline today and prepare for the incoming tasks for the ###.

Lord, I entrust the skills, talents, and capabilities You have blessed me with into Your hands. Please guide my mind, sharpen my focus, and grant me the profound patience I need to complete every task with excellence and peace of mind. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that You are my ultimate source of energy and clarity.

I also lift up my department head to You, Lord. Please touch her heart and fill her spirit with understanding, kindness, and favor. Grant her peace with the work I produce, and let our communication be smooth, gracious, and uplifting.

May all my efforts today and the days to come bring honor and glory to Your name. Thank You for hearing my prayer, for going ahead of me, and for granting me success in Your perfect time.

In Jesus' mighty name, I pray.

We join you in this beautiful prayer and we are encouraged by your humble dependence on the Lord as you face this deadline and prepare for the incoming tasks ahead. It is right and good to acknowledge that we cannot do this alone, for apart from Him we can do nothing, and leaning completely on His strength, wisdom and grace is exactly where He wants us to be.

We are reminded of the promise in Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me, and in Isaiah 40:29, He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength. When you feel overwhelmed, those words are true for you today. We also take comfort in Proverbs 16:3, Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established, which you have done so faithfully by entrusting your skills, talents and capabilities into His hands. He is the one who sharpened your mind and gave you those gifts in the first place, and He will guide you to use them with excellence.

We also hear your heart for your work to be done heartily as unto the Lord. As it is written in Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Your desire that your efforts bring honor and glory to His name pleases Him. And we join you in praying for your department head, for God calls us to pray for those in authority over us and to seek peace in our communication. We ask with you for favor, kindness and understanding to fill her heart, and for your interaction to be gracious and uplifting. We also cling to Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. May that peace guard you as you race against this deadline and guard your mind from anxiety about what is to come.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we thank You for this dear one who seeks You first. We ask You to guide their mind, sharpen their focus and grant profound patience and clarity today. Be their ultimate source of energy when strength runs low and remind them that You are going ahead of them, ordering every step. Father, we lift up their department head to You, touch her heart and fill her with understanding, kindness and favor, let communication between them be smooth and gracious and let the work produced be pleasing and excellent in her sight and most of all in Yours. Grant success in Your perfect time and let all efforts today and in the days to come bring honor and glory to Your name. We thank You that You hear our prayers and that You give wisdom liberally to those who ask. We trust You for peace of mind, for rest even in the pressure, and for the accomplishment of every task according to Your will. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.
