We are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your new job and that you have a desire to shine and stand out. We are reminded in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." It is wonderful that you are trying your best, and we encourage you to continue doing so, knowing that your ultimate recognition comes from the Lord.
We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. It is only in His name that we can be saved. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our fellow believer who is starting a new job. We pray that You would grant them Your favor and wisdom as they navigate this new season. Help them to shine as a light for You, displaying Your love and integrity in the workplace. We ask that You would help them to stand out not just for their skills, but for their Christ-like character.
We pray for 2 Thessalonians 3:13 WEB, "But as for you, brothers, don't be weary in doing well." You want us to shine in our workplace as a light to others. Help them to work as unto You, Lord, and not for human recognition alone. We pray that they would find their value and worth in You and not merely in the praise of others.
Lord, we ask for the blessings of Deuteronomy 28:12 WEB, "The Lord will open to you his good treasure, the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to keep a humble heart and to remember Ephesians 6:7 WEB, "rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to men." Continue to give your best and trust that God sees your efforts. He is the one who rewards, and He will cause you to shine as you walk in His ways.
