We join you in your prayer, thanking our Heavenly Father for you and your loved ones. We are grateful for His protection, healing, and the increase of our faith as we journey towards salvation. It is wonderful that you acknowledged that this is only possible in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and salvation. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We simply can not be saved by just a general god.
We pray for a closer relationship with your loved ones in Christ, as this is a vital part of our Christian walk. Let us encourage you with the words from Colossians 3:14-15, "And to all these add love, which ties everything together in perfect unity. The peace of the Anointed One must control your hearts—a peace into which you were indeed called in one body. And be thankful."
We ask the Holy Spirit to surround and guide you, delivering you from evil. As Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:13, "And do not bring us to the time of trial, but rescue us from the evil one." We can trust that our God and Father does not allow us to be tempted beyond our ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that we may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
We thank God for His blessings and forgiveness, knowing that in Christ, we are freed from the burden of sin. We can be assured with confidence that we can now have access by the blood of Christ into the inner court by the new and living way which he initiated for us through the veil, that is to say, his flesh. (Hebrews 10:19-20)
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, thanking You for our brother and his loved ones. We ask the Holy Spirit to draw them closer in Your will, delivering them from evil. Lord, increase their faith and bless them abundantly, continuing to forgive them and mold them to the image of Christ. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Spiritual growth happens within marriage and that is the relationship that this request should involve.
