Father, I praise you that you are always in control and we can trust you. You have plans for each of our lives for GOOD and not evil to prosper and not harm for hope and a future. I lift up ###'s friend who just lost her new fiance. I pray first for her salvation and if she is not yet saved I pray she would give her life to the Lord. Lord, this sweet girl was probably her happiest ever and now she has lost the man that she thought would be with her to the end. Help her to see that that was not your plan and to trust that you knew different the day they got engaged that this was not her forever husband. Help her to cherish the time she had and Help her to trust you!! You tell us to lean not on our own understanding but in all our ways to acknowledge you.
I thank You that we have a High Priest Who is able to understand and sympathize with the grief over this loss. I pray for your great mercy and grace just when she needs it. Please comfort this woman. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted (Matt. 5:4).
Jesus, You have come to heal the brokenhearted. It is in the name of Jesus that You, Father, comfort this woman. Thank you God you comfort her now so she will give this same comfort to someone who will also need it.
You give unto her beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that she might be called a tree of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that You might be glorified.
I also pray that you would take all of her problems and turn her life around. You are able to do more than we even think to ask!
