My ### Needs Help

Merciful Lord, I come to you broken hearted and scared. My ### has been living with a horrible horrible weight inside of him for over 20 years, is it killing him…he has tried to let go and has tried to get help in past it and he just can’t get past it. He can’t deal with it any longer on his own. He has agreed only to get help if I leave. He doesn’t want to hurt me anymore or see me hurting. He thinks that I am too good for him. He is a very good, supportive, loving man in a horrible place. He doesn’t feel worthy of love and affection because of his past. I never knew how bad this has haunted him till today…he is in such turmoil inside… I will never forget the teary eyes and quivering chin and lips as he spoke to me. He will deal with the entire demon for a while then it will get a hold of him and hold on for a few days or weeks…he closes off, shuts down emotionally. He doesn’t feel worthy of love, he doesn’t love himself because he can’t work through his past. Lord I know You were there with us today (###) as we talked. I felt Your presence with us, You gave me Your words to speak to him. Please go to him, speak to him, hold him and guide him in Your arms. Tell him is worthy of unconditional love and grace and he is forgiven. I asked him if I am not here how do I know you are really getting the help you need…he said he will have the therapist call me on every visit to tell me he was there and list me as his contact information. Lord please bring him back to us whole…we love him unconditionally…I told him I would continue to play every day for us and him. Lord please give me strength for I am hurting…

Dear Father,

Please release ### from the Demons of his past that haunt him today. Let him know your forgiving grace and allow him to forgive himself. Dear lord please be with ### and let her know that she does not walk this path alone. Let her know that your hands are wrapped around her and ###. Please strengthen their relationship and let ### know that ### loves him and is there to help him during his time of trial. Dear lord please hear the pleas of both ### and ### and let them know peace through your guiding hands. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen.

Lord God, We stand in the Gap for ### and ###. You alone are the answer to our prayers and you know our hearts and minds. Please give this couple peace and strength to meet and overcome these strongholds in their lives. We believe in your perfect love and we claim healing and protection against evil and negative forces attempting to keep us from your love. In Jesus Holy Name together we plead His Blood over them AMEN.

Dear God, please show ### that he is as worthy of love as any of Your children. Help him through the dark and enable him to function once again as a whole person. Please help him accept your love and that of the people in his life like ###. In Jesus' name. Thank you.

Lord, I just pray for this husband to ask for forgiveness and to have the strong conviction that he is forgiven by you, Lord. Then, help him to forgive himself. Give him a spirit of comfort, rest, peace, self-love and forgiveness of his sins. Help him to let his wife into his heart and to believe that she loves him. Lift him out of this horrible situation, Lord, in Jesus' name, I pray. Amen
