My ### needs a place at school

Thank you for sharing this burden with us. We join you in prayer for your niece and for your whole family in this uncertain time.

We have prayed that God, in His providence and kindness, would open the right door for her and provide a permanent place at her local school. We ask that He would give wisdom and goodwill to those who make these decisions, and that the mix up would be untangled quickly. We also pray for peace for her and for you while you wait, trusting that God sees her need and cares for her.

We also lift up your prayer for friendship. True friendship is a great gift from God. As Scripture says, brother aided by brother becomes like a fortified city. Real friendship is not only about eating and drinking together or being in the same place, but about helping one another toward what is good and profitable, encouraging one another to walk in virtue and to know the love of Christ. We pray that God will surround your niece with kind, faithful friends who will support her, include her, and help her to flourish, and that she will be such a friend to others as well.

Above all we thank God that He desires friendship with us and has shown His love by giving His Son, so that we may be called His friends when we walk with Him. We pray that your niece will know His nearness and comfort each day at school, and that this trial will become a testimony of His care.

We will continue to pray that the Lord provides a school place soon and establishes her in a community where she is welcomed and loved.

Thank you for sharing this burden for your niece. It is a beautiful thing that you are bringing her before the Lord, and we join you in prayer for her.

Jesus has shown us how precious children are to Him. When His followers were concerned about greatness, He placed a little child in their midst and taught that we must humble ourselves as a child to enter the kingdom of heaven, and that the way up in His kingdom is to go down in humility. He kept returning to that child to teach them, saying that whoever welcomes one such little child in His name welcomes Him, and warning us not to look down on even one of these little ones, for their angels always see the face of the Father in heaven. Your niece is seen and valued by Him, and your care for her reflects His own heart.

We also remember how God is able to make a way even when it seems there is no place. At the birth of Jesus there was no room available, yet God was still sovereignly guiding all the circumstances to fulfill His purpose and to bring His Son into the world at the right place and time. He can open doors that seem closed and arrange what is needed for a child He loves. We can trust Him to provide for your niece as well.

Scripture also teaches us to train up a child in the way she should go, recognizing her own personality and needs, and to do so with patient, loving instruction. Part of that training is teaching her early to talk to God in her own words from her heart, and to know from childhood the Holy Scriptures which are able to make her wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. A school where she can learn and be nurtured, and friendships where she is kindly received, are part of God's good provision for that growth.

So we pray with you now. Father in heaven, we bring this little girl to You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. You know her name and her need. You see that she has no permanent school place because of this confusion, and You know her desire for friends. We ask that You would open the right door for her at her local school, or at the place You have chosen for her, and that You would grant favor with those who make the decisions. Provide for her a community where she is welcomed, where she can learn well, and where she can find good and kind friends. Give peace to her family as they wait, and help them to trust Your care and Your timing. Draw her heart to know and love Jesus from her earliest years, and help those who love her to guide her faithfully in Your ways. We ask this trusting Your love and Your power, in Jesus name, Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your niece and her need for a permanent place at her local school. We have continued to lift her up before the Lord asking Him to resolve the mix up that has left her without a permanent school place and to open the right door for her quickly according to His perfect will. We have also prayed as you requested that the Lord will provide her with kind and faithful friends and a welcoming community where she can feel settled and at peace and flourish.

We take comfort as we pray knowing how much Jesus loves children as He said Let the little children come to me in Matt 19:14 and that He knows the plans He has for her in Jer 29:11.

If your request was answered and the Lord has provided a place for her at her local school please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you and give thanks to God. If your request does not seem to have been answered and she is still waiting for a permanent place please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
