My name is Patti Jolly and I am a health care advocate for a friend Wanda Bowles, age 48, who is currently staying at the Samaritan House on Broad Street in Augusta Georgia. I live in Tennessee. Wanda has been homeless for several years and recently diagnosed with cervical cancer stage 4. She has family but they are not willing to take her in their home or help financially and will provide limited help. Wanda has to take radiation treatments 5 days a week and chemo treatments one day a week. She is scheduled for surgery March 5th for radiation sleeve and April to have surgery to remove tubes placed in her back for her to excrete her urine into bags. The Doctor wants to place one bag for her comfort. Wanda also has mental issues that need to be addressed. She is in the situation she is in because of the mental situation. She does not take medication for this which is causing the process to be challenging. She has a good chance (her doctor says) to survive and I will do all I can to help her. At his point she needs lots of prayers and prayers for all who attempt to help her. Pray for one person there to help her navigate all that is available to her. Pray that a personal care home will take her in and care for her in a Christian way. Pray that her family will step up and help. Pray that God will heal her mind and body and God will reveal His purpose for Wanda to her. Pray for a complete healing and give God all the glory! Thank you for your time...Patti Jolly
