###, we stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through the authority of Jesus Christ that we can resist the enemy and see him flee.
The Word of God assures us that "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). This demonic presence has no authority over you because you belong to Christ. The enemy may seek to torment, but he cannot claim you, for you have been bought with a price—the precious blood of Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:20). We must remind you, though, that victory comes through persistent faith, prayer, and the putting on of the full armor of God. Have you been reading the Word daily, filling your mind with truth, and standing firm in righteousness? Have you confessed any known sin in your life, for unrepentant sin can give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27)?
We also urge you to examine your life for any openness to the occult, ungodly influences, or willful disobedience to God’s commands, for these can invite demonic oppression. If there are objects, media, or relationships tied to darkness, they must be removed and renounced in Jesus’ name. The Bible commands us to "submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Submission to God means surrendering every area of your life to His lordship—your thoughts, words, actions, and even your fears.
Let us pray for you now with boldness and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ### Prentiss. Lord, You see the battle he is facing, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every demonic spirit tormenting him—whether it be a spirit of fear, oppression, confusion, or any other unclean force—and we command it to leave him now in Jesus’ name. Father, fill ### with Your Holy Spirit, renew his mind with Your Word, and surround him with Your angels for protection (Psalm 91:11).
We pray that ### will walk in the authority You have given him as a child of God, standing firm in faith and not wavering. Give him discernment to recognize and close every door that has been opened to the enemy. Let him experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him, Lord, and remind him that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We rebuke the enemy in Jesus’ name and declare that ### is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Let this demonic presence be cast out and never return, for the blood of Jesus speaks victory over his life. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the deliverance that is already accomplished through the cross. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
###, we encourage you to continue praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and to surround yourself with other believers who can stand with you in this fight. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to devour those who are alone (1 Peter 5:8). If you have not already, we strongly recommend finding a Bible-believing church where you can receive prayer, discipleship, and accountability. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47).
Stay steadfast, brother. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep us updated on how you are doing, and let us know if there are specific areas where you need further prayer or biblical counsel. We are standing with you in this fight.
