My name is Ian and I am a 20 year old believer in Christ....But I have made a dire mistake in my walk with God, and I have backslid. It's as proverbs 14:14 says ' The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, but a good man will be satisfied from above.' I have gone against my commitment to Christ in that I got into prescription drugs again after I already had been freed from them before by God. Now my prayer request is that he would forgive me once more as I return to him as a sort of prodigal son ...I am just about to go through drug withdrawal as I type this request...and I just pray for strength and power from God to get through this detoxification process successfully. I hope he will help me to feel better as I go through this extremely uncomfortable phase.

My Dear Friend Ian!  Our Lord is a LOVING God!!!!   Our Lord is a very Giving God!!!!  Our Lord is so proud of you right now.  He knows that you are human!  We make mistakes and we learn by them.  You have reached out and ask God for him to forgive you. Now, it is time for you to forgive yourself and move on with your recover program.  God is with you! God is around you!!! and God is in You!  That inner strength to over come your addiction is from Our Lord Helping you!....
