My mother Vasanthy Venugopal was diagnosed with endometrial adenocarcinoma with spread to ovaries, abdominal and pelvic lymph nodes, lungs and skeletal system last year. She responded well to first line chemotherapy which destroyed more than 80% of her cancer. But the cancer recurred this year and again showed spread at all these places except her skeletal system which stayed cancer free. She was put on second line chemotherapy (4 cycles done then stopped because of insufficient response) which did not help much except for controlling her uterine bleeding. The doctor then started her on third line chemotherapy (only one cycle done till now). She now also has metastasis to her brain causing weakness on her left hand and leg. She keeps sleeping almost all day and her responses are very less when someone calls her. She is currently hospitalised and doctors will evaluate her for brain radiation today. We are also going to begin a medicinal herb concoction from tomorrow. Please pray that she gets her radiation and it kills every single cancer cell and lesion in her brain and she starts being more alert and has no weakness on any side. You need to get your mom on a very health diet. Like Blue berry malts! eating fresh Greens and Fruits. You make have to blend so she can sallow.....changing her diet with very healthy foods will help replace all the cells that died with chemo with new growth. Try telling to NEWHOPE here on this site. She has lots of good advise with eating and foods.
