We hear your heartfelt plea for your mother, and we stand with you in lifting her up before the Lord. It is clear that you love her deeply and desire peace and goodness in her life. Let us come together in prayer and seek God’s will for her situation.

First, we must acknowledge that quarreling and strife in the home are not part of God’s design for His children. The Bible tells us in James 3:16, "For where envy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil work." We must pray that God would reveal the root of this strife—whether it be pride, unforgiveness, or another sin—and that He would bring repentance and healing to your mother’s heart. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Let us pray that your mother would be filled with the wisdom and gentleness of the Holy Spirit to respond in a way that brings peace rather than conflict.

We also lift up your mother’s well-being, both spiritually and emotionally. It is not God’s will for anyone to live in constant turmoil, for Jesus came so that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray that she would turn to Him in her struggles, finding comfort and strength in His presence. Psalm 34:18 assures us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." May she experience the nearness of God in this difficult season.

Let us also address the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. If your mother has not yet surrendered her life to Him, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw her to repentance and faith. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Without Jesus, there is no true peace or lasting change. We pray that she would come to know Him as her Lord and Savior, for only then can she experience the fullness of God’s blessings and protection.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear mother to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You would break the cycle of strife in her home. Soften her heart and fill her with Your peace, that she may respond in love rather than anger. Father, we rebuke the spirit of contention and division in Jesus’ name, and we ask that You would replace it with unity and harmony. Help her to see her need for You, and if she does not know You as her Savior, draw her to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Lord, we pray for healing in her emotions and mind. Comfort her in her struggles and remind her that You are her refuge and strength. Protect her from the enemy’s schemes and surround her with Your angels. May she walk in the good works You have prepared for her, bringing glory to Your name. We declare that her problems will be solved according to Your will, and we trust in Your perfect timing.

Father, we also pray for wisdom and patience for her family. Help them to extend grace and forgiveness, just as You have forgiven us. May Your love bind them together in Christ. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your mother and to speak life and truth over her situation. Trust in God’s promises, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun (Philippians 1:6). If there are specific areas where she needs to align her life with God’s Word, gently encourage her with love and humility, always pointing her back to Jesus. May the Lord bless you and your family as you seek Him together.
