We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your mother.
We have been lifting her before the Lord and we continue to pray for her total healing after this stroke, for restoration of her strength so that she may walk again as she did before, and for the Lord to touch her body in all the areas of need you shared including late phase Alzheimer, diabetes, depression and her other health conditions. We are praying for the Lord to protect her from all harm and from every plan of the enemy, and we agree with you that no weapon formed against her shall prosper as promised in Isaiah 54:17. We are asking God to guard her body from anything harmful and from any treatment that is not good for her, to remove any evil influence and to surround her with His peace and presence in that hospital room.
We are also praying for wisdom, compassion and attentiveness for the medical staff and doctors, that they would give her royal and preferential treatment and favor, that they would show true care and discernment regarding the tranquilizers, the binding of her hands, the care at night when she is restless and talking, and the inflammation and infection following the catheter and the need for antibiotics. We pray that the Lord will give them wisdom to know how to help her recover and that He will protect her and restore her health. We remember your concern about losing your mother as you lost your father and we pray that the Lord will comfort you and heal your mother and keep her in His hands. We claim His promise that He heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3 and that He will restore health and heal wounds in Jeremiah 30:17.
