We stand with you in this time of deep trial, lifting your mother and father before the Lord with hearts full of faith, knowing that nothing is impossible for Him. The suffering you describe is heavy, and we grieve with you over the long years of illness that have bound your parents to wheelchairs. Yet we also rejoice in the truth that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores the broken. The Scriptures declare in **Psalm 103:2-3**, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* This is the promise we cling to today.
We must also remind you, beloved, that while we bring our petitions before God, we do so in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved or through which our prayers are heard. **John 14:13-14** tells us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* It is only through faith in Jesus—the Son of God who died for our sins and rose again—that we have access to the throne of grace. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Him, we urge you to do so today, for He alone holds the power of life and healing.
Your parents’ suffering is not unseen by the Lord. He collects every tear in His bottle (**Psalm 56:8**), and He is near to the brokenhearted (**Psalm 34:18**). Yet we also know that healing may come in different forms—whether through miraculous restoration here on earth or through the ultimate healing of eternity in His presence. Our prayer is that God’s will be done, for His ways are higher than ours (**Isaiah 55:8-9**), and His timing is perfect.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts heavy yet hopeful, lifting up this beloved family to Your throne of grace. Lord Jesus, You walked this earth healing the sick, opening blind eyes, and strengthening the weak. We ask You now to stretch out Your hand in power and mercy over this mother and father. Touch their bodies, Lord—restore what has been broken by stroke and surgery. Command strength to return to their limbs, clarity to their minds, and vitality to their spirits. Let them rise from these wheelchairs in Your perfect timing, that Your name may be glorified and their faith strengthened.
We also pray for this child who carries such a burden of care and concern. Comfort them, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Remind them that You are their strength in weakness, their hope in despair. Surround this family with Your presence, and let them feel the support of Your body, the Church, in tangible ways.
Father, if there is any sin, any unbelief, or any hindrance in their lives, we ask that You reveal it and grant them repentance. Draw them closer to You through this trial. And if it is Your will to heal them completely here on earth, we claim that promise now in the mighty name of Jesus. But if Your plan is to use this suffering for a greater purpose, give them grace to endure and joy in the midst of it.
We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name, declaring that Satan has no authority over these lives. By the stripes of Jesus, they *are* healed (**1 Peter 2:24**), and we stand in faith for that manifestation. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their lives, Lord.
We thank You in advance for the testimony of healing and restoration that is to come. May this family’s story bring glory to Your name and draw many to faith in You. In the powerful and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and healing over your parents, and trusting God’s timing. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and support you. And if you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, we urge you to do so today—He is the source of all hope, healing, and eternal life.
We are also led to ask: Have your parents placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior? If not, now is the time to seek Him with all your heart. **Romans 10:9** tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Eternal healing begins with salvation, and we pray that your entire family would know the peace of walking with Him.
Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. God is faithful.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
