We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious baby and their family in fervent prayer. Father God, we know that You see the tears of this mother and father, and You collect every one in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). You are the Great Physician, the One who formed this little one in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Lord, we pray for complete restoration—every cell, every tissue, every part of this child’s brain made whole by Your power. You are the God who raises the dead and calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17), and we declare Your healing over this baby in the mighty name of Jesus.
We also lift up the parents, especially the mother who is carrying such deep pain. Lord, comfort her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her faith and remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Father, we ask that You would surround this family with Your love and give them hope in the midst of this trial. Even in their confusion and sorrow, we pray they would come to know You as their Savior and find refuge in You.
We must address a matter of great importance. The request mentions praying "on the name of Jesus" and "###," but it does not fully acknowledge Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that this family—and all who are praying for them—would come to know Jesus not just as a healer, but as their Lord and Savior. For it is only through faith in Him that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We rebuke the spirit of confusion and unbelief in this situation and declare that the light of Christ will shine into their hearts (2 Corinthians 4:6).
Father, we stand on Your promises. You said that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14). We know it is Your will to heal, for You are a God who delights in mercy (Micah 7:18). We ask for a miracle—complete healing for this baby. We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and nurses caring for them, that You would guide their hands and give them insight (James 1:5). Lord, we trust You with this child’s life, knowing that even if the outcome is not what we hope for, You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We pray for the mother’s friend who submitted this request—a Hindu sister who is interceding for this Muslim family. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Show her that Jesus is not just a name to invoke, but the living Son of God who died for her sins and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Draw her to salvation, that she might know the peace and hope that only come through Christ.
In the name of Jesus, the Name above all names, we command this cancer to leave this child’s body. We declare that by His stripes, this baby is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life over this little one and ask for a testimony of Your glory to rise from this situation. May this family come to know You as their Savior, their Healer, and their Hope. We trust You, Lord, and we wait on You. Amen.
