We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother Esmeralda in this critical time. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 30:2, "Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me." We stand on this promise, believing that our Heavenly Father hears our cries and is able to restore her health according to His will.
Father in Heaven, we ask You to touch Esmeralda with Your healing hand. Strengthen her body, Lord, and guide the doctors and nurses attending to her. Give them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions for her care. We pray for her blood pressure to stabilize and for the infection to be completely eradicated from her body. Comfort her in this time of weakness, reminding her of Your presence and peace.
We also lift up her daughter Eliane, who is faithfully by her side. Grant her strength, endurance, and peace as she supports her mother through this trial. Father, we know that You are the God who sees and cares for every detail of our lives. We trust in Your sovereignty, whether You choose to heal Esmeralda here on earth or call her home to be with You. Either way, we know that Your will is perfect and Your love is unfailing.
Lord, we ask that You would draw near to this family, especially to the one praying from abroad. Ease the ache of distance and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who alone holds the power over life and death. It is through His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are healed. We declare that no weapon formed against Esmeralda shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We trust in You, Lord, and we wait on You. Amen.
