Disciple of Prayer
My mother died today. Please pray that i will take right days off so that i will relax also - i have mobbing in my place of work. How to distance my self from these pupils who gave complaints in written to the principle. She knew my mother is in hospital and she said to me, my husband is sick to, you must earn your salary.

Lord please comfort me and protect me from any evil through people and from any mobbing and any pressure, control, manipulation.

I am feeling like i have fire in my stomach from all these obligations and not knowing what to do. Lord please help.

The owner in a senior home called me to and pretemded that they did not gave her BEANS for lunch day before, and my mother is in bed 14 days and has 3 diets that they should followed, she had gasses and i saw at her face that it was painful, and she made noises like it hurts...my brother is telling me to shut up, that she was old and sick and that it was her time, but the chief of neurologysts said IT WILL BE FINE WITH HER, somebody made very bad mistake... i am so sad and angry at them. This country CROATIA is full of evil unprofessional.and lying people.

Rizpah On the Rock
A mother’s love endures beyond death and calls us to live worthily of her watchful care.
We are so deeply sorry to hear about the death of your mother today, and we weep with you in this time of profound sorrow and overwhelming pressure. We lift you up together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, asking for God's comfort, wisdom, and protection to surround you.

The Lord sees your grief and the fire in your stomach from all these obligations and the mobbing you are facing at work. He knows the pain of losing your mother while carrying such heavy burdens. The psalmist says, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. And Jesus said, Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted Matthew 5:4. We pray He will bind up your broken heart as He promises, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3.

We pray for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You for our dear sister who is grieving and burdened. Lord, comfort her as only You can. Pour out Your peace upon her that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Give her wisdom to know how many days to take off to grieve and to rest, for You invite the weary, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. Lead her to take the time she truly needs and to find true rest in You, not just absence from work but renewal for her soul. Protect her from all evil through people, from mobbing, pressure, control and manipulation. Be her refuge and fortress when she feels overwhelmed, when her heart is overwhelmed, lead her to the rock that is higher than she Psalm 61:2. Cast all her anxiety on You because You care for her 1 Peter 5:7.

Lord, we also ask for Your help with the anger and distress she feels about her mother's care in the senior home and the painful last days with the wrong food and suffering. We ask that You would heal her from bitterness and help her to process this grief with truth and grace. And we pray for her relationship with her brother and for grace in her workplace where she feels mobbed and judged.

We want to share some counsel and encouragement from Scripture with you. It is right and good to take bereavement time to mourn, to rest, and to seek the Lord. Do not be pressured to return before you are ready, and seek wise counsel from a doctor, a pastor, and your employer about what is appropriate and healthy. If your heart is overwhelmed, ask God for wisdom, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5.

Regarding the mobbing and the pupils who complained and the colleague who spoke harshly while your mother was in the hospital, God sees this injustice and your pain. We encourage you to respond not with retaliation but with godly boundaries and professionalism. Keep a clear record, speak respectfully with your principal through proper channels, and do your work faithfully as unto the Lord. We are to seek peace where possible, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. At the same time, it is right to distance yourself in a professional way, to not engage in gossip or revenge, and to entrust yourself to God who judges righteously. Scripture says, Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19.

We also gently want to address the deep anger you feel toward the senior home and toward people in your country. Your sorrow and anger at what you believe was negligence and lying are understandable, and God understands righteous anger. Yet we are called, Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath Ephesians 4:26, and to Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32. It is not good to let this pain harden into a belief that your whole nation is full of evil people, for that can become hatred that poisons your own heart. There are unprofessional and sinful people everywhere, but there are also good and faithful people, and God loves the people of Croatia and desires all to come to repentance. If there was a true medical mistake, it is right to seek the truth calmly and through proper channels when you have strength, but release the final justice to God so that bitterness does not consume you.

You prayed to the Lord, and we are grateful for your faith, but we noticed you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can bring our grief and our cares directly to God and have assurance of eternal life and reunion with loved ones who knew Him. If you have not already, place your trust fully in Jesus as your Savior and Lord, call upon His name, and you will be saved.

We encourage you to bring that fire in your stomach to the Lord daily in prayer, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. Seek rest, eat, sleep, walk, and let other believers help you carry this burden. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10.

We are praying together that God will comfort you in your mourning, give you clear wisdom about the days to take off, protect you from mobbing and manipulation at work, calm the turmoil within you, and lead you to forgiveness and peace while you grieve your precious mother. May the God of all comfort hold you close in these days in Jesus' name.

We were so saddened to hear your mother passed today. Please know we are holding you in prayer in these first raw hours of grief, with all the sadness and anger that has come with it.

It makes sense you feel torn and overwhelmed, fire in your stomach, pressure from work, complaints from pupils, and painful questions about your mother's last days in the home. When a brother says to be quiet and others seem unkind, that loneliness can feel even heavier. God sees all of it, even when people around you do not respond with care.

As you think about days off, we encourage you to reach out soon to your principal or personnel office to ask clearly what bereavement leave is available and put it in writing, so you can step back and rest without uncertainty. If you can, ask a trusted friend or family member to help you make that call this week while you are grieving. For the complaints at school, keeping a calm distance for now and saving any written notes quietly is wise until you have more strength.

That burning feeling in your stomach with so much stress is worth bringing to your doctor alongside prayer, just to be cared for well.

Father, we bring our sister to You in her grief and exhaustion. Comfort her, guard her from harm and manipulation, give her wisdom for each next decision and rest for her body and heart. Lead her step by step in Your peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am praying for you and peace of mind while you grieve. You have my prayers of compassion and support. God bless you. Amen

The God of all comfort sees you in this hour of deep sorrow and heaviness, and His word still says, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. He does not despise the tearful eye and the aching heart, and He often sends comfort to the desponding by His Word and by His people.

Your mother has been taken from you, and grief and anger are mingled together. It is right to mourn, and there is a sorrow that is not without hope when it is carried to Christ, who Himself was a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. The pain you saw in her last days, the questions about her care and the food that was given, the words of the doctors and the sharp words of your brother telling you to be silent, all these have come upon you at once, and it is no wonder that you feel as fire in your stomach and know not what to do. The Lord knows these obligations that press upon you, and He knows also the unkindness you have felt from others.

We will pray for you, that the Lord will comfort you and protect you from evil, from pressure and control and manipulation, and that He will give you wisdom concerning your work. You ask how to take the right days to rest and how to distance yourself from those pupils and complaints. Be prudent and seek rest as you are able, for the body and mind need time to mourn. And concerning the mobbing and the hard word that was spoken to you, that you must earn your salary even while your mother lay in hospital, the Lord sees that injustice and unkindness. It is wise to keep a proper distance, to do your work faithfully and quietly, and to commit those who have risen against you to Him who judges righteously, without returning evil for evil.

Do not be so affected by these outward troubles as to be consumed with worry and fretfulness. As we have often said, anxiety has never comforted anybody, nor has it brought any meal to the barrel, and the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You need a comfort that you can press to your bosom and say, This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. It is not the letter alone, but the Spirit working by the Word that quickens and so comforts. When God would comfort us, He often does it by quickening us, by giving new life and strength to bear the trial.

Therefore give yourself to prayer, for it was little prayer that brought many low, and it is great prayer that will lift them up. Tell the Lord all that is in your heart, your sadness and your anger at what you believe was done amiss, your hurt at your brother's words, and your distress over this country and the failings you have seen. Ask Him to keep your heart from bitterness, for bitterness will only add to your misery. Time is a healer under God, and He has promised that you shall forget your misery and remember it as waters that pass away, not because the loss was small, but because His grace will sustain you and bring you through.

May the Lord comfort your heart and establish you in every good word and work. Comfort alone is not enough without constancy, and constancy without comfort will not suffice, but God is able to give both.

Let us pray for you now. O Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our hope, look upon this grieving child. Comfort this heart that is broken by a mother's death. Quicken this soul by Thy Word and grant peace that passes understanding to calm the fire within. Grant wisdom to know how many days to rest and how to walk wisely in the place of work. Protect from all evil through people, from mobbing and pressure and every form of manipulation. Deliver from the spirit of anxiety and teach to cast every care upon Thee, for Thou carest for Thy people. Heal the anger and turn it into prayer, and keep this heart from being hardened. In Thy mercy, give rest, give guidance, and give the sure comfort that comes from Christ alone. Amen.
