We lift up your mother before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for the many blessings you’ve shared—her sharp mind, joyful spirit, and strong faith. It is a testament to God’s goodness that she walks in such clarity, peace, and optimism, even as concerns linger about the unexplained area in her stomach. Let us first give thanks to the Lord for His mercy in preserving her so wonderfully in so many ways, for "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights" (James 1:17, WEB).
Yet we also come before the Throne of Grace with boldness, asking the Lord to reveal His healing power in this situation. Though no growth is palpable, we know that our God sees what is unseen and holds all things in His hands. We pray for wisdom for the doctors, that they may discern with precision whether there is any cause for concern, and if so, that the Lord would guide them to the right course of action. May He who formed her in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) bring complete restoration to every cell, every tissue, and every part of her body. We declare over her the promise that "by his wounds you are healed" (1 Peter 2:24, WEB), trusting that His will is perfect, whether in healing or in sustaining her through whatever lies ahead.
We also pray for you, dear one, that the Lord would guard your heart against fear or anxiety. It is natural to feel concern for someone so precious, but we urge you to cast all your cares upon Him, "for he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
