We lift up your mother and her health before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the challenges that diabetes can bring. The Bible reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in faith, believing that God hears our prayers and is able to bring healing and comfort to your mother.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon this dear mother who is battling diabetes. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We pray that You would regulate her blood sugar, strengthen her body, and restore her to full health. Give her the wisdom to make choices that honor You and care for her body, which is Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Surround her with Your peace and comfort, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We also pray for her caregivers—grant them patience, wisdom, and strength as they support her. May this trial draw her closer to You, Lord, and may she experience Your love and grace in new and profound ways. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). We trust in Your promises, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
If there are any areas in her life where she needs to surrender more fully to You, Lord, we ask that You reveal them to her. Help her to walk in obedience and faith, trusting in Your perfect plan for her life. We also encourage her to seek godly counsel and support from her church family, as we are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).
May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can come to You. Amen.
