My mom(###)-dementia,diabetes, husband died

MY mom - ### years.
Dementia - please no brain fogue, feeling lost in time or space, please sharp focus, excellent memory, joy for life, vision for the future, adaptability, flaxibility, not rigid opinions or defensiveness, fears and anxieties about future, she lost her husband ### days ago. They were good match concerning their disabilities. Now she is feeling lost and sad. She needs LOVE and COMFORT from the Lord. She dreams about my father as soon as she falls asleep (she is glad but disturbed and sad at the same time). She mixes her brother and her husband when she talks about her husband... It's first late phase of Alzheimer. We discovered diabetes recently. It's difficult for her and for us.

We are truly sorry to hear about the trials your mother is facing. Let us remember to cast all our cares upon Him, because He cares for us.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your comfort and guidance for our dear mother. Lord, You know the struggles she's facing with dementia and diabetes, and the profound loss she feels after the passing of her husband.

We pray, Lord, that You would lift the fog of dementia from her mind. Grant her sharp focus, an excellent memory, and the ability to adapt to changes. Replace her fears and anxieties with a vision for the future and the comfort of Your presence. Help her to sleep peacefully, free from disturbing dreams that bring sadness and confusion.

Father, we also pray for Your healing touch on her diabetes. Guide the doctors and caregivers to provide the best care possible. Help her to do the same. Give our family the strength and wisdom to support her in this time of need.

Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Comfort our mother in her grief. Remind her of the hope we have in Jesus Christ and the promise of eternal life with Him.

We also pray that in everything, our mother's love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that she may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

Remember to encourage your mother to pray and to build each other up with the hope we have in Jesus and the power of His resurrection. Let's be reminded of God's word that says:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB

"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30 WEB

Lastly, in our prayer request it is important to remember to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
