Humble Prayer Partner
I have been asking for prayer and praying diligently for my wife and my marriage for two months now. While I can see some progress, my wife is still set on divorce. I can see that she is debating it in her mind just a bit but people around her will not let her make her own decissions. Her mother and father are on her constantly about me seeing the children at anytime, or even staying over late and having dinner with my wife and kids, they are pushing her so badly for a divorce. My wife has four other siblings who all moved away because of the controlling spirit that my mother in law has. At this time she has such a control over my wife that what she says my wife is doing. At times when my wife and I are alone we talk and things are great and she even opens up a bit about the future, but the moment her mother comes into the picture its all off. I love my wife with everything I have and only want to show her and give her the love that God gave me for her on December 29th when He set me free, after 18 years of marriage and 23 yhears together I can finaly love her the way she needs to be loved. I ask for prayers that my wife would not be controlled by her mother but listen to the Holy Spirit and what God wants her to do for our marriage. I pray my wife would follow her heart and renew her love for me and I pray that our Lord and Savior would put a love in her heart for me like He put a love in my heart for her, one That I never knew existed until He set me free. I pray for our marriage that it may be reborn and be a new marriage from this point on and that my wife would take me back in and let me love her the way that the Lord had intended it to be and be the father to our three children as he intended it to be. I thank you all for your prayers and I trust and believe in the God of miracles that He can still perform them today as He did two thousand years ago. I thank you all. May God bless each and every one of you. In our Lord Jesus Christ name I pray this, Amen.
