We lift up your sister before the Lord with urgent hearts, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the Restorer of all things. The darkness she is walking in is not of God, and we stand firmly against the influences that seek to harm her spirit, mind, and body. The enemy desires to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly—and we claim that promise over her now.
The Word of God warns us, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* (1 Corinthians 15:33). Your sister’s associations are leading her away from the truth, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would open her eyes to the danger of these influences. *"Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."* (Ephesians 5:14). May she turn away from those who draw her into darkness and instead seek fellowship with those who will encourage her in righteousness.
We also pray for her marriage, knowing that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and desires for marriages to reflect His covenant love. If her husband is a believer, we ask the Lord to strengthen him, to give him wisdom and discernment to lead his family in godliness. If he is not yet saved, we pray for his salvation, that he too would come to know Christ and walk in His ways. *"Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it."* (Ephesians 5:22-25). May their marriage be restored according to God’s design, rooted in love, sacrifice, and mutual submission to Christ.
For the children involved, we ask for God’s protection over their hearts and minds. May they be shielded from the consequences of their mother’s choices and instead be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* (Proverbs 22:6). We pray that even in this difficult season, they would see the faithfulness of God and come to know Him personally.
We rebuke the spirit of confusion, deception, and rebellion that may be at work in your sister’s life. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and for the Holy Spirit to fill her with conviction, repentance, and a hunger for righteousness. *"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* (James 4:7). May she surrender her heart fully to the Lord and allow Him to break every chain that binds her.
Finally, we pray for you, that the Lord would give you strength, wisdom, and perseverance as you intercede for your sister. Do not grow weary in praying for her, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* (James 5:16). Stand firm in faith, trusting that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister who is trapped in darkness. Lord, You see her heart, her struggles, and the influences that seek to destroy her. We ask for Your healing touch to restore her mind, body, and spirit. Break every ungodly soul tie and deliver her from the snare of the enemy. Surround her with godly counsel and remove every harmful influence from her life. Restore her marriage, Lord, and let it be a testimony of Your redeeming power. Protect her children and draw them to Yourself. Give her a spirit of repentance and a hunger for Your Word. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit and lead her on the path of righteousness. We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we thank You for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ.
