Your cry concerning your life has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord with earnestness in the name of Jesus Christ.
You are wearied in the length of your way, and it is a heavy thing to feel that weariness in your own soul. The word of the Lord says, You are wearied in the length of your way, yet you did not say, There is no hope. If you feel that there is no hope in yourself, you have judged rightly, for there is no hope in ourselves. But there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior of such as you. There is no hope for you in yourself, but there is abundant hope for you in Christ.
We do not know all the details of your burden, but God knows them fully. He is in one mind and His purpose is not changed. What His soul desires, that He does. Even when we have spoiled and marred our lives, even when we have fallen as Peter fell, the Lord Jesus looks upon us still. There is life in a look at the crucified One, because there is life in a look from the crucified One. That look of Christ severed Peter from the crowd and brought him to his better self, to remembrance and to repentance, and by that remembrance he was restored. So the Lord can do for you.
Do not despair, though your heart is broken. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart He will not despise. If you come to Him in Christ Jesus, God will commune with you from the mercy seat and be your constant companion and ever present friend. He redeems your life from destruction and crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies.
Our prayer for you in Jesus name is this. That you would turn to the stronghold, you prisoner of hope, and find in Christ alone your salvation, your righteousness, and your life. That God would deliver you from all your transgressions, guide you by His counsel through this trying way, and afterward receive you to glory. That He would give you not a false hope which is no hope, but a good hope of eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ, a hope that is belief and desire and expectancy, waiting with patience for what is not yet seen. That you would be restored, strengthened, and kept from this time forth, to walk in the way of holiness and to glorify God by a consistent life.
We pray that you would fly to Jesus and hide in Him and stay there, for your life cost Him His death and His death is your life. He took sin and died, that you might take His righteousness and live.
We will continue to pray that the Lord will make His grace effectual in you, that you will remember His mercy, return to Him with your whole heart, and be kept by His power unto the end.
