Lord I thank you for another beautiful morning in my life. I thank you for having been a wonderful father to me, even in times when I acted very poorly and did not adhere to what you have taught me through your Holy Spirit. Father I ask for your forgiveness over all the sins that I committed. I went frenzy when I did the physiology and computer examinations. Even though I had studied very hard, I found it very hard to remember the things I studied. Please forgive me for the things that I thought, things that I said and the things that I did. It really hurts me having thought so many things about my life forgetting that you are the great and awesome I am and that all the things work together for good for those who love you and are called for your purpose.
Father, I ask you to help me with spiritual stability. I really need that to remain strong and well fixed in your word. I have been heavily trialled this week and I passed most tests during the first days of the weeks and I failed the most these last few days. Father I need stability to be able to stand firmly in my faith and believe in you no matter the circumstance and no matter what this world may offer me. My reward is in heaven and I really need to seek your voice and your wisdom everyday. I will continue searching for your and Lord even when I drift and get trialled I will still have strong faith in you. I do not pray for trials to be removed from my life because that would mean that there will be no spiritual growth, no more maturity and no more victory. I admit that this time I was a bit improved than last time in face of trials. So Lord, all I need is further improvement everyday in my walk with you. Please lead me out of the insecurity patch and bring me to a place where I can confide in you no matter what comes my way.
Father I also need strength and encouragement during trials and temptations. Satan works overtime every time I turn my eyes to Christ. He tries hard to fill me with thoughts, bad images, memories of the wrong things I enjoyed in the past and also condemns me over. Sometimes this week he became so louder than usual and I found it hard to stabilize on the voice of truth the reason was that my spirit was weary and weak because of all that happened. I tried so hard to think thoughts of faith but it was not enough. Father, having looked back at that I pray for guidance and correction so that I may be stronger in the face of trials. Please help me be even stronger and not let Satan get away with his lies. I need to have an even more solid foundation in you. Lord please help me be fixed on you.
Father I thank you for you have helped me establish my life on three things that mean a lot to me. First my relationship with God. Second my studies and Third my family. You have helped remove things that don't mean much to me but had been consuming my time greatly like soccer, and chatting with friends every time. Lord I need your guidance to be able to get the things in good order and be fixed only on you.
Father I pray for spiritual growth and maturity. I really need to grow and establish my faith in you and not in things help me grow and attain different elements in the character of Christ each and every day of my life. Father please strengthen me and guide me. Help me be as strong as you need me to be. Today I will learn about Fasting and prayer and I will also learn the stories of different great men in the Bible and know that if God can establish great things in other people's lives then my life can be no exception. I know that God used people who seemed most unfit to be used for His glory but God does that so that no man may take the glory. I believe that it is in your will for great things to happen to me and to use me for your purpose and for your glory. Thus I put my woes behind me. I put the first half of this semester behind me. I put my fatigue behind me and I fix my eyes only on the cross.
Lord I pray for improvement in the knowledge and discernment of your word and help me stay stable and strengthened in you. I want to know you more and to serve you better with each and every day of my life. Help me know more about you and how you have impacted the lives of so many people past so many generations in time and about your character. I admit that I know partially, very few things but I am willing to learn more about you until when my time here on earth is over and finished. Please help me with this.
Lord I pray for assistance. I have not been hardworking enough in my studies for quite a while. It is quite clear that the hardworking people get through this course much more successfully and those who put God first make it even farther and are led seamlessly towards his wonderful purpose. I have not been getting this part well for most of the time. Lord I am willing to study both your word and my studies to the core, because I see that is the only way I can get by anything. Lord please help me do the right things and live the right way and to always trust in you my father. I am willing to invest hours and hours and to sleep for less than the desired time in order to get everything in order. Father please help me be all that you created me to be. I am willing to start today. Study until I can not study any longer and work until I expire. I am willing to discipline my flesh to do things that I am supposed to do. You have shown me that I can discipline my flesh to certain things and now I am willing to take it to a whole new level and be a better person. I want to set an example to people and be an inspiration to all who desire being used by you for the purpose that you created them for. Please help me in this area Lord. Help me be a better person and study extra hard.
Lord I pray for improved understanding of my studies and improved memory so that I may be able to remember everything that I need to remember, so that I may know everything that I need to know and to apply everything that I need to apply. Lord I want to be able to apply everything that you have given me. I realize that life here is short and I have to live it, then it should be for things that make you happy and glorify you. That is why Lord, I am willing to give myself away. I will push my flesh to extremes and I am going to go an extra mile. I will not look back at this semester which was wasted by my time wasting and lack of faith and stability, help me set a schedule that will help me become a better person.
Lord I pray for an extreme high performance in exams ahead. Lord I know I did not start very well my first semester and I have so much chasing to do but I never really prayed for this and so many things went out of hand and I started complaining when Lord you said that we have not because we ask not. So Lord I am now willing to ask you to please make my examination results wonderful no matter how the situation will be. I know that knowledge will help me a lot, but also having exceptional examination results will help open doors to the future and one of them will be what you have planned for me to go. Lord I also believe that they will also glorify you more and honour you more than I think. Lord I believe in you. You have done it before and I believe you can do it again. Thus I trust in you completely and I know that you are with me and that you will never leave me nor forsake me.
Lord I pray for overall better health and better well being. Help me be more healthy and live a healthy life. Keep me far from diseases and help me do exercises for better health and strength so that I may become as healthy as you want me to be, because our bodies are indeed the temple of the Holy Spirit. Thus Lord, I trust my health in your hands and I know that it will be improved through you and by you.
Lord I pray for healing from gum swelling, gum bleeding and acne. Please Lord restore my gums to good health so that I may have a chance to start over my dental health care.
Lord I pray for my future career. My desire is to become a lecturer and teach students. Lord but I am very willing to be led by you into my right career path. Please carry me into the career path you want me to take. Lord give me the strength and faith needed to fight the good fight and hold on to the things you show me that will be helpful for my career. My desire is to be able to be used by you for your purpose. Lord I want to listen to you every time and hear what you want me to do. Lord help me lead a strong chase. Help me surpass all obstacles, trials and temptations to become the person that you have called me to be.
Lord I pray for the issue of spouses and wife. Please help me get the right person to be my wife if it is according to your will for me to have a wife. I know that most of us desire beauty of appearance but Lord I prioritize faith, hope and love. Help me get the right person who has these three things well established, and if it is according to your will then she may as well be beautiful. If it is in Your will for me to have a wife and family please help me get the right person for that.
Dear Lord, I pray for improved social life. Help me interact in a way that glorifies you. Help me inspire other people to come to you, to open up their hearts to you, to love and to serve you much more and much better.
Lord I pray for my mum's health. She is the only parent that I have left and it seems that she has some health issues to deal with. Lord please heal her and restore her to greater health so that she may be able to carry on with what you have called her to do.
Lord I pray for my family's spiritual growth. Lord please help us grow more each day in Christ. Help me be a catalyst for change and do all possible so that we may be in the right place always.
Lord I pray for my youngest sister's career and future. Please guide her to achieve what you have called her to do.
Lord I pray for sick relatives especially grandma, and aunt. Please heal them and restore their health all for your glory and honour.
I pray for my friends, please guide them towards the right direction. Help them lead a life that glorifies and honours you. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ.
Lord I pray for people living in adversity and tough conditions. In the midst of all the suffering please give them peace and help them find rest and hope in you.
Lord I pray for the lost and unbelievers. Please guide them to your voice and help them hear the still small voice. May more people be drawn closer to you.
Lord I thank you for all this. I know that you have great plans for us and that your will is greater above all else and that you are with us even when we lose our way and fail to stand strong.
