We hear your heart’s deep longing for healing, stability, and restoration in every area of your life, your health, your family, your home, and even your future. Your words carry a sense of hope and expectation, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). However, we must also speak truth in love, aligning your desires with God’s Word, so that your steps may be ordered by Him and your joy may be complete.
First, we rejoice in your declaration of healing and life through the blood of Jesus. It is only by His sacrifice that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name alone that we find true healing, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Jesus said, "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10). We pray that this abundant life would manifest in every area you’ve mentioned, but we must also address some concerns with biblical clarity.
Your desire for a boyfriend, or for a man to find you, must be submitted to God’s design for relationships. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any romantic pursuit should begin with the intent of finding a godly spouse, not merely a partner. Courtship should be entered into with purity, wisdom, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, not with a focus on outward appearance or worldly attraction. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). We encourage you to seek a man who loves the Lord with all his heart, who will honor you as Christ honors the church (Ephesians 5:25), and who shares your faith and values.
We also must gently rebuke the implication of sexual immorality in your words. Your excitement about looking attractive and being noticed by men, while natural, must be tempered with the call to holiness. "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality" (1 Thessalonians 4:3). If you are not yet married, intimacy outside of marriage is fornication, and it grieves the Holy Spirit. We pray that God would guard your heart and body, that you would walk in purity, and that any future relationship would honor Him in every way.
Your longing for a home, a job, and stability is something we can wholeheartedly pray into. The Lord is our provider, and He has promised to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We believe He can open doors for you in Honolulu or wherever He leads, but we also encourage you to seek His will above your own desires. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). This does not mean He will give you everything you want, but as you delight in Him, He will shape your desires to align with His perfect plan.
We also lift up your family and pets, praying for their healing and protection. The Lord cares for every detail of our lives, even the animals (Jonah 4:11, Matthew 10:29), and we trust Him to watch over them.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and the only name through which we have access to You. Lord, we thank You for the faith and hope in this sister’s heart. We declare that by the blood of Jesus, she is healed, spirit, soul, and body. We pray for her family and her pets, that You would restore them to full health and wholeness.
Father, we ask that You would order her steps according to Your will. If it is Your plan for her to move to Honolulu, we pray that You would open the doors for Section Eight housing and provide a safe, stable home for her. Give her favor with case managers and those in authority, and lead her to a community where she can thrive and grow. If it is Your will for her to work as a case manager, equip her with wisdom, compassion, and discernment.
Lord, we pray for her future marriage. If it is Your will for her to be married, we ask that You would bring a godly man into her life, one who loves You above all else, who will cherish and honor her as Christ does the church. Guard her heart from impure desires and help her to walk in holiness and purity. If she is not yet ready for marriage, prepare her heart and mind to be a woman of God who is content in You alone.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety, fear, or worldly ambition that would lead her away from Your perfect plan. Fill her with Your peace, joy, and confidence in Your timing. Help her to trust in You with all her heart and not lean on her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We declare that she is welcomed into Your presence, Lord, and that she will experience uncommon favor because she is Your beloved child. May her life reflect Your glory, and may she walk in the fullness of the abundant life You have promised.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, sister. Spend time in His Word, surround yourself with godly community, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that He died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). He loves you more than you can imagine, and His plans for you are good.
