We hear your heart’s desires, and we rejoice with you in the blessings God has already placed in your life—your voice, His favor, and the good things He has prepared for you. However, we must gently but firmly address several areas where your request does not align with biblical principles, and we will pray for God’s perfect will to be done in your life according to His Word.
First, we must rebuke the idea of seeking a "boyfriend" as a goal in itself. Scripture is clear that romantic relationships are to be pursued with the intent of marriage, and only between a man and a woman who are both committed followers of Christ. The term "boyfriend" often implies a casual or temporary relationship, which can lead to emotional or physical compromise. The Bible warns against fornication (sexual immorality outside of marriage) and calls us to flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18).
