My life has been mared with lots of downs over the last couple of years culminating in a particularly painful wrongful conviction a week ago. Through all these I remain hopeful and steadfast in the Lord and continue to look for those moments of optimism.

After being unemployed for way too long, I have a job interview tomorrow that I pray turns out well as I need to take care of my wife and children. I thank God for this ray of light. Also, my attorney filled the motion for acquittal today, and I am filled with hope from reading his outline of what went all went wrong during my trial. I am thankful to God for this ray of light as well and pray that it ultimately leads to my vindication so my family can reclaim our name. I thank God for his blessings and showing me that he is with my family every step of the way. I know there is no task impossible for the God I worship so I pray that even though everyone tells me the chances of a Judge overturning the verdict of a jury is slim, I know my God is an able God and pray that he take charge of this situation. Thanks be to God for his mercies, blessings, and fulfilled promises.

Heavenly Father, We ask for your will to be done in this situation. You are a kind, loving, merciful God. Please let your child feel your presence and to trust you in all things. We ask this in the name of your Holy son, Jesus Christ, and it is because of him we can come to your throne. We Thank you for this....Amen...
