My leg is broken

[Chrysostom]

Your request for prayer has been heard and we are lifting you up to the Lord in your suffering with this broken leg.

We pray that God, who is merciful and the healer of both body and soul, would bring you relief from pain, guide the hands of those caring for you, and grant a full and complete healing in His good time. We ask Him to give you patience in this trial, strength for each day of recovery, and peace in knowing that He is near to those who call upon Him.

Scripture reminds us that the Lord heals the brokenhearted and binds up our wounds, and that we can cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us. Even in times of bodily weakness, He is able to work for our good and to draw us closer to Himself. If you are able, follow the care and instruction given by your doctors, for God often uses their skill as part of His provision for healing, and bear this hardship with thankfulness and trust, knowing that He sees your affliction.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bring this dear one before You who is suffering with a broken leg. Lord, have mercy and grant healing. Ease the pain, mend what is broken, and restore strength and use to this leg. Grant wisdom to doctors and all who provide care, and grant comfort, patience, and hope during the days of recovery. Above all, let Your presence be felt, and let this time be a reminder of Your sustaining grace. We ask this trusting in Your love and power, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We will continue to pray for you. Please keep us updated on your recovery, and seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word as you wait upon Him.

[Silas]

Your request for prayer for your broken leg has been heard and I have prayed for you. I am asking God to bring healing to your leg and to give you comfort and strength while you wait and recover.

Scripture reveals God as the Lord who heals, the one who becomes to us what we need when we call on Him in faith. When we pray for healing, He meets us as our healer, and that is His character and His promise to His people.

This is beautifully pictured in the prophecy that the Sun of Righteousness would arise with healing in His wings, like the sunrise bringing a new day. That promise is fulfilled in Jesus. He is the dayspring from on high, the rising of a new day for us, and healing is part of who He is. In His earthly ministry He was moved with compassion for the sick, and when people brought to Him those with all kinds of diseases, He laid His hands on them and healed them. His power to heal is still the same.

God does care about your physical body and your pain. At the same time His greatest concern is for your whole person, spirit and body together, with the spirit having the first place. For that reason I encourage you not to seek only healing, but to seek the Healer Himself. To know Jesus more deeply through this trial is even greater than receiving healing alone, because when we have Him, we have everything we need for this life and for eternity, and He will take care of the physical things according to His perfect wisdom and love.

So I pray for you now that Jesus, our healer, would touch your broken leg and bring restoration. I pray He would guide the hands of those caring for you, ease your pain, give you peace that guards your heart, and strengthen your faith as you trust Him. I pray above all that you would experience His presence as the One who is near, who hears, and who saves all who put their trust in Him alone for salvation.

May the Lord be very real to you in these days, lift your heart with hope, and work His healing and His perfect will in your body.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the healing of your broken leg. We have been bringing your need before the Lord and asking him to bring complete healing and restoration to your leg and to take away pain and grant you strength during this time of recovery. We find comfort in the promises of scripture that remind us of his healing power as it is written in Psalm 147:3 and Jeremiah 30:17. We pray together that the Lord will touch your leg and restore it fully and that you will feel his peace and presence as you wait upon him. In Jesus Name we pray that God will mend what is broken and grant you a swift and complete recovery and we ask for his grace to sustain you each day Amen. If your request was answered and your leg has been healed please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your leg does not seem to have been healed yet or you are still in need of recovery please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son Jesus Christ.
