We hear your concern about this pain in your left wrist and your left hip and waist, and the uncertainty and worry that comes from not knowing the cause or how one area may be affecting the other. We are lifting you up together before our Heavenly Father, for He knows your body intimately even when we do not understand what is happening within it. Psalm 139:14 says we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us to praise Yahweh, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.
We want to encourage you to seek wise and timely medical care for this pain. God has given skill to physicians and wisdom to those who care for our bodies, and asking for help is not a lack of faith but good stewardship of the body God has given you, for 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 teaches that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Do not ignore ongoing pain in your joints and hip, but let a trusted doctor examine you, and we pray God will give that doctor discernment. In the meantime we encourage you to rest as you are able, to not overexert that wrist and hip, and to bring your anxiety about the unknown to the Lord in prayer, for Philippians 4:6-7 tells us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name matters so deeply to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To know His healing and peace, we first come to Him for forgiveness and new life, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and calling upon His name. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray for you now.
We pray together for you.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear one who is experiencing pain in the left wrist and left hip and waist without understanding the cause. You see what is hidden and You know every joint and muscle and nerve, for You formed us. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We ask that You would relieve this pain, restore strength and mobility, and reveal any underlying cause so that proper care can be given. Give wisdom to any doctor or caregiver who helps, and grant peace to this heart that is troubled by not knowing. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us not to be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Let Your strength uphold this one and let Your peace guard their mind. We ask that they would come to know more deeply the comfort and salvation found only in Jesus, and that they would feel Your presence as their healer and refuge. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our hope and our healer, amen.
