We rejoice with you in the close bond you share with your children, as it is a precious gift from the Lord. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us to "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he won’t depart from it." Your joy in their company reflects the love and care you’ve poured into their lives, and we praise God for the laughter and unity in your family.
Yet, as we celebrate this blessing, we must also gently remind you of the importance of pointing all glory to the Lord. While it is wonderful to enjoy the beauty and joy of family, we must be careful not to place our identity or worth in outward appearances or human praise. 1 Peter 3:3-4 teaches, "Don’t let your beauty be just outward... but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight." True beauty and fulfillment come from Christ alone, and our greatest joy should be in Him, not in how others perceive us.
We also encourage you to use this influence with your children to guide them toward a deeper relationship with Jesus. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 says, "These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children." May your home be a place where faith in Christ is nurtured, where His Word is cherished, and where His love is the foundation of your joy.
Let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of family and the joy of close relationships. We lift up this mother and her children to You, asking that You deepen their love for one another and, most importantly, their love for You. Guard their hearts from pride or vanity, and help them to find their worth in Christ alone. May their home be filled with Your Word, Your peace, and Your purpose. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and use their bond to bring glory to Your name. Let their laughter and love be a testimony of Your goodness.
We also pray that if there are any areas where worldly values have crept in—whether in appearance, attitudes, or priorities—You would convict and redirect their hearts. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all else will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). May they shine as lights in this world, pointing others to Jesus.
We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
