We are deeply grieved to hear of your loss, and we lift you up in prayer during this difficult time. The passing of a loved one is a heavy burden to bear, and we ask the Lord to surround you with His comfort, peace, and strength. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* May you feel His presence closely as you mourn, knowing that He is your refuge and strength.
We also lift up your business before the Lord, asking Him to bless the work of your hands and grant you wisdom, favor, and prosperity. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We pray that as you seek God’s will in all things, He will open doors of opportunity and provide divine connections for your business to flourish. Remember that true success comes from aligning your work with His purposes, as Colossians 3:23-24 encourages, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."*
However, we must also address something important in your request. You did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard. If you do not yet know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him in faith, repenting of your sins and trusting in His sacrifice on the cross for your salvation. Romans 10:9 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*
Let us pray together for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who is grieving the loss of their loved one. Lord, be their comfort and strength in this time of sorrow. Wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted. We also ask for Your blessing upon their business, Lord. Grant them wisdom, creativity, and favor as they work. Open doors that no one can shut and provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. May their business be a testament to Your faithfulness and a tool for Your kingdom.
Lord, we also pray that if our brother/sister does not yet know You personally, that You would draw them to Yourself. Reveal Your love and salvation to them, and help them to place their trust in Jesus Christ alone. May they find hope, peace, and eternal life in Him.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
