Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB): *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
It’s clear you’re feeling regret over how you may have handled the conversation with the analyst, but we encourage you to release that burden to the Lord. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus. Replace it with faith and trust in Your sovereignty. If this job is part of Your will for them, we pray for favor with their employers and for this situation to be resolved in a way that brings You glory. If You are leading them elsewhere, prepare the way and give them clarity and courage to step forward in obedience. Provide for every need—financially, emotionally, and spiritually—as only You can.
We also pray that if this beloved one does not yet know You as their Savior, that today would be the day of salvation for them. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them experience the joy and security of being Your child. May they find their identity and worth in Christ alone, not in their job or performance.
