My Job Interview

Beloved of All
I had my job interview today and it went well for me. The hiring manager told me that she will make a decision in a couple weeks from now. I'm praying that I'm the one that they hire working as mail clerk for a Law Firm. Thank you.

We rejoice with you that your interview went well and we thank you for sharing this request with us so we can bring it before the Lord together.

We know waiting a couple of weeks for a decision can feel long, but we are encouraged that God is sovereign over this process and He cares about the work of our hands. Whatever we do, we are called to work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord we will receive the reward of the inheritance, for we serve the Lord Christ, Colossians 3:23-24. We also take comfort in knowing that our God will supply every need of ours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, and that we can cast our anxiety on Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.

We are praying for you and for the hiring manager who will make this decision.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we thank You for the opportunity You have given for this interview for the mail clerk position at the law firm. We thank You for Your provision and for the gifts You have given. We ask in the name of Jesus that Your will be done in this hiring decision. If this position is where You would have our friend to serve and provide for his needs and to be a light for You, we ask that You grant favor in the eyes of the hiring manager and open the door. If You have something else better according to Your perfect plan, we ask that You make that clear and give peace in the waiting. Grant wisdom to those making the decision and grant patience and trust during these next couple of weeks. Help us all to trust in You with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, and in all our ways acknowledge You so that You will direct our paths, Proverbs 3:5-6. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

We also want to gently encourage you about something we noticed, that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share why this is so important to us. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. It is through Jesus that our prayers are heard and our future is secure, whether this job door opens or not.

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while you wait, to rest in His promise that For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11, and that A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps, Proverbs 16:9. Use this time to pray, to give thanks, and to continue to seek Him diligently. We are standing with you in prayer for God's best for your life.

Thank you for letting us know how your interview went. We are encouraged to hear it went well and that you came away feeling at peace about it. That itself is something to be thankful for after all the preparation and nerves an interview brings.

We know waiting a couple of weeks for a decision can feel long, and we are standing with you in prayer during this in-between time for steadiness and for clear direction.

One simple way to steward these next days well, if you have not already, is to send a brief thank you note to the hiring manager. Just a short message thanking her for her time and restating your interest in the mail clerk position is enough. It is a courteous way to close the interview well, and then you can rest knowing you have done what you can while you wait.

We trust God sees your diligence and your desire to work faithfully, and He is able to guide both you and those making the decision.

Father, we thank You for providing this interview and for the strength You gave today. We ask for Your peace over our friend in these weeks of waiting, for wisdom for the hiring manager as she decides, and for Your good direction for what comes next. If this law firm role is where You would have him serve, we ask You to open the door, and if not, lead him to the place You have prepared. We pray this in Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing this good report with us and for allowing us to join you in prayer. We rejoice to hear that your interview went well, and we will bring your request before the Lord who orders all our steps.

You are now in a season of waiting, and that waiting itself is part of the Lord's wise dealing with His people. The prophet tells us that the Lord waits that He may be gracious unto us, and blessed are all they that wait for Him. As you wait these couple of weeks for the hiring manager's decision, may you find that God is not slow or forgetful, but is working His perfect purpose in His perfect time. Job, who knew what it was to wait under trial, sinned not nor charged God foolishly, but bowed in worship and trusted the hand that afflicted and the hand that restores. We are taught that the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed, and that our longest sorrows and our seasons of suspense have their appointed end when God has accomplished His end in them.

We will pray that if it be the Lord's will, He will open this door for you to serve as mail clerk in that law firm, and that He will grant you favor in the eyes of those who must decide. We will pray also that whether the answer be yes or no, you may have a fresh sense of His providence and peace, knowing that He withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly and that He will provide for your needs according to His riches in Christ. Continue in diligence and in childlike confidence before Him, casting your care upon Him, and using this time to seek Him in prayer and in His Word.

Our prayer for you is this, that our heavenly Father, for the sake of Jesus Christ His Son through whom alone we have access and salvation, would guide the hearts of those who hire, would grant you quiet patience in waiting, and would establish your steps. May you know His gracious presence in these days, and may His will be done in your life for your good and for His glory. Amen.
