We join with you in prayer and thank God that you have claimed His promise over your life that Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God Deut 28:13. We agree with you that your identity is in Christ and that you walk in the authority and blessing He gives as you obey Him.

We bring your practical needs before the Lord together, for He cares about even the small details of our lives. We pray for your iWatch and iPhone, that the connection would be restored and remain stable and that the watch would stay on and function properly permanently. We know God is able to provide wisdom for even these technical things, and we ask Him to give you peace and not anxiety as you wait on Him. We are reminded to not be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Phil 4:6 and to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and not lean on your own understanding Prov 3:5-6.

We also lift up your desire for another part time job and to hold your own keys, which we understand as a desire for provision, independence, and a place of your own. We pray that God will open the right door for honest and fruitful work, for we know that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Phil 4:19. We encourage you in this, that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Col 3:23. We gently counsel you about doing this in secret. While we understand the desire for privacy and for the air to be clear, we encourage you to walk in integrity and truthfulness in all your dealings, for the Lord delights in honesty and He will honor you as you honor Him. We pray that God will provide so clearly that there is no need for secrecy, but rather open favor and peace where you live and work. We pray He will grant you the ability to hold your own keys in His perfect timing and provision, as you seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matt 6:33.

We rejoice with you as you pray for a Boaz to come into your life, and we thank you for covering this desire with the blood of Jesus. We agree with you for a godly marriage according to biblical principles. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman designed by God, and we pray not simply for a boyfriend or partner but for a godly husband if it is God’s will for you to marry. We pray that if you are in a courtship, it would be with a Christian believer who loves the Lord with all his heart and seeks to honor Him, with the goal of marriage. We know that whether he is a cat person or not is a small preference, but what matters most is that he is a man of noble character who fears Yahweh, for charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised Prov 31:30 and likewise a man who fears Yahweh is to be sought after. We pray for a man who will love you as Christ loved the assembly Eph 5:25, lead your home well, and pursue purity with you. We must gently remind you that any relationship must remain pure before marriage, for God calls us to flee sexual immorality 1 Cor 6:18, and sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and does not honor Him. We pray your courtship would be marked by holiness, accountability, and a shared delight in the Lord, for also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Ps 37:4, and that He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Prov 18:22.

We thank God that you have invoked the blood of Jesus, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We cling to His sacrifice for our forgiveness and our hope.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank You for Your promises that we are the head and not the tail as we walk in obedience to You. We ask You to touch this iWatch and iPhone and cause them to link properly and remain working and powered on, and give peace in this small but urgent need. We ask You to provide a good part time job that is honest and sustainable, and to provide housing and provision to hold keys and live independently in a way that honors You. We ask You to bring a godly Boaz, a faithful Christian man who will pursue marriage with purity and love for You, whether he loves cats or not, that he would love You first and love her well, leading toward a holy marriage that glorifies You. Wash us all in the blood of Jesus, keep us from sin, and let Your will be done in every area. We trust Your timing and Your goodness. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

Your many petitions have been laid before the Lord and we have heard the earnestness with which you seek His hand upon the details of your daily life. It is good to bring the smallest matters and the greatest matters alike to the throne of grace, for our God is not weary of the cries of His children, and He who numbered the hairs of our head cares also for our labour, our dwelling and our hearts.

You have quoted that promise, that the Lord would make thee the head and not the tail, and truly this is the portion of those who walk in obedience and fear before Him. Yet remember Job, who is set before us as a man that feared God and eschewed evil. His blessedness did not lie in outward prosperity alone, for all was taken from him, and still he sinned not nor charged God foolishly. He bowed and worshipped. His glory was at last restored, but his greater glory was that he had seen the Lord and learned to trust Him when waves and billows went over him. So we would have you seek first not the outward sign of blessing, but the God who blesses, that your confidence may stand though trials come.

We will pray with you that the work of your hands may be ordered aright. If it be the Lord's will that your watch be rightly linked and serviceable, we ask Him to grant it. If He would open to you honest labour by which you may provide for yourself and keep your own keys, we ask Him to provide it in His providence and in a way that loves truth and openness, for all our times and dealings ought to be times of sincerity before God and man. There is no need for secret ways when we walk in the light, and the Lord who turned again the captivity of Job when he prayed will turn to you in mercy as you walk uprightly.

And concerning this Boaz of whom you speak, we pray that if the Lord has indeed brought a man into your life, he may be a man after the heart of Ruth's Boaz, a man that fears God, eschews evil, and seeks a pure and holy covenant as God ordained from the beginning, one man and one woman joined for life. We pray not for a fleeting affection but for a holy marriage if it be God's good will, kept within the bounds of chastity and honour, under the blood of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. May any such friendship be guarded by prayer, by patience, and by submission to the Word of God, that Christ may be first and all else in its proper place.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Thou knowest the desires of this heart. Thou seest the small instruments of daily life and the great longings for provision and for companionship. Grant, we beseech Thee, that which is needful and withhold that which would harm. Give skill and favour in honest work, give a quiet dwelling and daily bread, and give grace to wait upon Thee as Job waited, with patience and worship. If it be Thy will to establish a godly union, let it be in holiness, in truth, and in the fear of the Lord, to Thy glory. Keep this soul resting not in outward things but in Christ Jesus, whose blood alone cleanses and saves. Your request has been lifted up with care before the Lord, and we join you in seeking His mercy and wisdom for each need you have named.

We pray first that you would know the blessing of Deuteronomy 28:13 in its true sense, not only in outward provision but in walking in obedience to Christ, who alone is our salvation through His blood. May He make you steadfast in faith, using every good gift without abusing it, and keeping your heart fixed on Him above all things.

For your watch and phone, we ask the Lord to grant that these tools work reliably and serve you well, and that they would be used with moderation and thankfulness, helping you to order your days with peace and to redeem the time for what is good. We thank Him that what you have has continued to function, and we ask for His continued care over these practical matters.

For work and for a place of your own, we ask God to open the right door for honest labor in His timing. We pray He would provide a part time job that is fitting and honorable, where you can work diligently and quietly as unto the Lord, and that He would grant you wisdom and favor to provide for yourself and to be a good steward of whatever home and responsibility He entrusts to you. May He clear confusion and grant you peace and stability, so that you may hold what He gives with gratitude and responsibility.

For the man you describe as a Boaz in your life, we pray that the Lord would lead you both in holiness and clarity. Scripture teaches that marriage is honorable and is a bond ordained by God, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that holiness is to live chastely, whether unmarried in purity or married in faithfulness, not permitting what would defile the holiness given to us by faith in Christ. If this relationship is from the Lord and is to move toward marriage, we pray it would be pursued only in the Lord, with chastity, honor, and the counsel of reverent men and women, keeping the marriage bed pure and the heart guarded. We do not ask God to bless living together or intimacy outside of marriage, for those things are not His design, but we do ask Him to bless obedience, self control, and a love that seeks first the Kingdom of God. Pray together, seek wise counsel, and let all things be done in order and with gravity, so that Christ Himself is invited and honored in the whole course of your lives.

May the Lord keep you in His grace, fill you with His Holy Spirit as you sing psalms and walk in prayer, and guide every decision toward what is comely and without distraction in His service. We ask all this through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose blood alone is our hope. Amen.
