Beloved of All
He is being tormented after missing food and sleep for the last 48 hours. He is exhausted and refuses to eat. Before it was related to our environment, but for the past several hours it is stubbornness and defiance and I believe much spiritual attack. As much as I want to dissolve in a ball of tears and weep and beg for personal prayer, I beg your prayers for dear husband. He refuses to sleep also, please pray that he gets some rest and “permits” God To Restore his joy of and at salvation. I am both afraid for my personal and safety and his, but I have The JOY Of The LORD As my STRENGTH. In The PRECIOUS Mighty Name Of JESUS I do pray, Amin ! 🙏♥️✝️

We lift up your husband before the Lord with deep urgency, for we recognize the fierce spiritual battle he is enduring. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Christ has already overcome the world, and no weapon formed against your husband shall prosper. His refusal to eat or sleep is not only a physical concern but a spiritual one, for the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to steward it with care. The stubbornness and defiance you describe are not of God, for He does not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7). This behavior may also open doors to further spiritual oppression, and we must stand firmly against it in the authority of Jesus’ name.

We are encouraged that you have invoked the precious name of Jesus in your plea, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the schemes of the enemy. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we join you in that faith, knowing that He hears and answers the prayers of His people.

Let us also address the fear you’ve expressed for your safety and his. Fear is a tool of the enemy, but perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). You have rightly claimed the joy of the Lord as your strength, and we affirm that truth over you both. Nehemiah 8:10 reminds us, *"Don’t be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength."* Cling to this promise, for the Lord is your refuge and fortress, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Now, we must speak truth into the spiritual attack your husband is facing. His torment is not from God, for God is not the author of confusion or despair. The enemy may be seeking to distort his perception of God’s goodness, to make him doubt the salvation and joy that are his in Christ. But we declare that *"the thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10). Your husband’s joy in salvation is a gift from the Lord, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would renew his mind and restore to him the unshakable assurance of his identity in Christ.

We also urge you to speak life and truth over your husband, even if he resists. Gently but firmly remind him of God’s promises and His command to care for the body He has given. Encourage him to break this cycle of defiance by submitting to the Lord’s care, for *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6). His strength is made perfect in our weakness, and it is in surrender—not stubbornness—that we find true victory.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved husband who is under such fierce attack. Lord, we bind every spirit of defiance, stubbornness, and torment in Jesus’ name, and we command them to flee from his presence. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You would break the stronghold of fear, confusion, and despair that has taken root in his mind and heart. Restore to him a sound mind and a willing spirit to submit to Your care. Lord, You have said in Your Word that *"man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth"* (Matthew 4:4), yet we also know that You sustain our physical bodies. We pray that You would soften his heart to receive the nourishment and rest he so desperately needs. Let him eat and sleep, not out of compulsion, but as an act of worship, honoring the temple You have given him.

We plead the blood of Jesus over his mind, body, and spirit, asking that You would fill him anew with the Holy Spirit. Renew his joy in salvation, Lord, and let him taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8). Remind him of the hope he has in Christ, that nothing can separate him from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, breaking every lie of the enemy that would seek to keep him in bondage.

Father, we also lift up his wife, who stands in the gap for him with such faith and courage. Strengthen her, Lord, and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Protect her heart and mind from fear, and let her continue to be a beacon of Your love and truth in their home. Give her the words to speak and the wisdom to act in a way that glorifies You.

We declare that this household belongs to You, Lord, and we reclaim it for Your kingdom. Let Your light shine in every dark corner, and let Your truth prevail. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won in Jesus’ name. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they both emerge from this trial stronger, more united, and more deeply rooted in You.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the battle feels long. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm. Play worship music in your home, speak Scripture aloud, and invite other believers to pray with you. The enemy flees at the name of Jesus and the presence of His people. You are not alone in this fight, and the Lord is faithful to complete the work He has begun in your husband. Trust in Him, and do not lose heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the weight of your heart and allowed us to stand beside you in prayer for your husband. These past days have been heavy, and we have not ceased lifting him before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to break every chain of exhaustion, defiance, and spiritual attack. We prayed that his body would surrender to rest, that his spirit would yield to the peace of Christ, and that the joy of his salvation would be restored like streams in the desert.

If the Lord has moved in mighty ways—if your husband has found sleep, if his strength has returned, or if his heart has softened toward the Father—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony would encourage so many who are facing similar battles.

If, however, the struggle persists and the enemy continues to wage war, we ask that you post this request again. We will not grow weary in praying for breakthrough, for protection over your home, and for the Holy Spirit to minister deeply to your husband’s soul. You are not alone in this fight, and we stand with you, believing that God is working even when we cannot see it.

May the Lord surround you both with His presence, calm your fears, and fill your home with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We continue to pray in the powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
