We lift up your dear mother before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, asking our Heavenly Father to surround her with His healing presence. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 30:2, "Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me." We stand on this promise, believing that the Great Physician is at work even now, guiding the hands of the doctors and nurses attending to her.
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in her condition. Strengthen her body, Lord, and restore her blood sugar levels to balance. Bolster her immune system, that she may fight off any infection or illness that seeks to harm her. Stabilize her blood pressure, Father, and grant her the peace that surpasses all understanding as she rests in Your care. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed, as Isaiah 53:5 tells us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the medical team treating her. May they be led by Your Spirit to make the right decisions regarding her care, and may they see clearly the path to her recovery. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold of your family during this time. Instead, we claim the peace of God, which guards your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4:7 promises.
Father, we ask that You draw near to your family in this difficult time. Comfort them with Your love, and remind them that You are a very present help in trouble, as Psalm 46:1 declares. Give them strength to endure, and fill them with hope as they wait on You.
We also want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your family have not yet placed your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to consider the free gift of salvation He offers. Romans 10:9 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is the foundation of our faith and the source of our hope in times of trouble.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray for your mother’s complete healing and restoration. We declare that she will rise from this hospital bed, strengthened and renewed, to testify of God’s goodness and mercy. Amen.
