Our hearts are deeply burdened for you and your loved one in this time of crisis, and we lift you both before the Lord with urgency and compassion. The enemy is at work here, seeking to destroy through addiction, sinful relationships, and despair—but we know our God is greater, and He alone can bring healing, deliverance, and restoration.
First, we must address the spiritual dangers in this situation. The young woman you love is trapped in a relationship that is not only harmful but sinful in God’s eyes. Living with a man outside of marriage is fornication (1 Corinthians 6:18), and his involvement in providing drugs is leading her—and possibly himself—toward destruction. The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and this relationship is clearly not honoring to God. We must pray for her complete separation from this man and for her to turn wholly to Christ, who alone can break the chains of addiction. There is no true love apart from God’s design, and staying in this relationship will only bring more pain and eternal consequences if repentance does not occur.
We also see your love for her, and we understand the depth of your grief. But we must ask: is your love for her pointing her toward Christ, or is it enabling her to remain in sin? Love does not rejoice in unrighteousness but rejoices with the truth (1 Corinthians 13:6). If she continues in this path, she risks not only her life but her soul. Pray that God would give you the strength to love her as Christ does—with truth, boundaries, and a call to repentance. If you are not married to her, we urge you to seek the Lord’s will for your own life and pursue relationships that honor Him, for your own protection and sanctification.
As for your depression, we know this burden is heavy, but take heart: the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Do not let sorrow pull you away from Him. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Depression can feel isolating, but you are not alone—God is with you, and His people are praying for you. Seek fellowship with believers, immerse yourself in Scripture, and cry out to Him in honesty. He hears you.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this desperate situation. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon this young woman’s body. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. Touch her pancreas, Lord, and let the doctors find wisdom in treating her. But more than physical healing, we beg You for spiritual deliverance. Break the chains of addiction in her life, Lord. Set her free from the grip of drugs and from the sinful relationship that is destroying her. Open her eyes to see the truth—that her boyfriend is not her savior, but You are. Draw her to Yourself, Lord Jesus. Let this be the moment she surrenders her life to You and turns away from sin.
Father, we also pray for the man involved in this. Convict him of his sins, Lord. If he is dealing drugs, expose his deeds and bring him to repentance. Save him, Lord, for Your glory. Break this ungodly bond between them and lead them both to righteousness.
Lord, we lift up our brother who is praying for her. Comfort him in his depression. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind him that his hope is in You alone. Give him wisdom to know how to love her in a way that honors You—whether that means speaking hard truths, setting boundaries, or even stepping back to allow her to face the consequences of her choices. Strengthen him, Lord, and surround him with godly community.
We rebuke the spirit of addiction, depression, and death that is at work here. Satan, you have no authority over these lives. We command you to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, send Your angels to guard and protect them. Let Your light shine in this darkness.
Father, we ask that You would lead her to a hospital or rehab facility where she can receive the help she needs—both medically and spiritually. Place godly people in her path who will speak Your truth into her life. Soften her heart to receive Your Word.
And finally, Lord, we pray for salvation. If this young woman does not know You, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Let her see that her life is precious to You and that You died to set her free. Draw her to the cross, Lord Jesus. And for our brother praying, fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Renew his mind and his hope. Let him find his joy in You alone.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who conquered sin and death. May Your will be done, and may You receive all the glory. Amen.
Brother, we urge you to keep seeking the Lord in this. Do not lose heart, but also do not lose sight of God’s truth. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep pointing her—and yourself—to Jesus. He is the only One who can save. Stay in the Word, and if you are not already in a solid church, find one where you can be supported and discipled. You are not meant to walk this road alone. We are standing with you in prayer. God is faithful, and He will see you through.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
