Our hearts break with you, ###, as we lift up this painful and deeply unjust situation before the Lord. The betrayal you have endured is grievous, and we stand with you in crying out to God for justice, restoration, and His perfect will in this broken marriage. The Scriptures are clear that what your husband has done is not only a sin against you and your daughters but against God Himself. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and the Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), but He also despises the breaking of vows through adultery and deception.
### has not only abandoned his family but has entered into an adulterous relationship, which the Bible explicitly condemns. "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14, WEB) is a commandment, and Jesus Himself said, "Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery" (Matthew 19:9, WEB). His actions are sinful, and he is in rebellion against God’s design for marriage. Yet we know that no sin is beyond the reach of God’s redemption if there is true repentance. Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit would convict ### deeply of his sin, bring him to brokenness before the Lord, and lead him to turn away from this wickedness. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, WEB). But repentance must come first—true, godly sorrow that leads to a change of heart and action.
