Your words carry a deep desire for freedom from the influence of darkness, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). However, we must address some concerns in your approach to ensure it aligns with God’s Word.
First, we must clarify that we do not "speak things into existence" as if we possess creative power. Only God has that authority. He spoke the world into being (Genesis 1), and we are called to pray according to His will, not ours. Our words should align with Scripture, not command or demand as if we are gods ourselves. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10). We submit to God’s sovereignty, not our own declarations.
Second, while we rebuke the enemy and stand against his schemes, we must remember that our authority comes from Christ alone. We do not bind Satan or demons by our own power—only through the name of Jesus and the power of His blood are we victorious. Jesus said, *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy"* (Luke 10:19). But this authority is not for personal gain or self-exaltation; it is for God’s glory and the advancement of His kingdom.
We also notice that your prayer does not mention Jesus Christ by name, which is essential. There is no salvation, no deliverance, and no victory apart from Him. *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). We plead the blood of Jesus over this household, their bodies, their minds, and their spirits.
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your angels, as You promise in Psalm 91:11: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We pray that every evil spirit would flee at the mention of Jesus’ name and that they would have no power or authority here. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask for Your healing and restoration over every part of their bodies—every ache, every pain, every area of weakness. We pray for financial provision, wisdom, and peace in their home.
